Hail all!
I just wanted to invite you to visit my SCAP campaign website: www.scarlet-blades.com
Feel free to steal anything on the site for your own campaigns. I plan to add custom maps and NPCs in the near future, as well as a few other goodies. So, for the sake of community, consider the site yours. ;-)
By the way, I borrowed heavily from various websites myself (though in many cases I modified the material to fit my game). I'd like to give a special THANKS to Teknohippy. His site was very influential in the design of my own (Heck, I even modeled one of my NPCs after one of his PCs). So, thanks Teknohippy, for being a creative inspiration!

Thanks for the kind words, that's the second compliment the site's had today. I like your's by the way.
The inspiration for mine came from another, http://www.fief.org/cgi-bin/moin.cgi.
We are starting SCAP on Tuesday (24th Jan) finally! Excellent I've waited a long time, my head is just so stuffed full of it. The website was a good way of relieving some of the pressure.
I can not wait to see how it all goes. The first session has quite a bit going on before the attack on Rufus (Who's being replaced with Bran's best friend Ord).
The journey from Sassarine to Cauldron will be fairly uneventful, just a few staring monkeys and the like.
At the gates though there will be a small misunderstanding. The orphan PC Cass, who doesn't know her family or anything before the age of three, is acutally the twin sister of Triel Elderast! The guards on the gate might not react too well to a 'cop killer' turning up.
Skylar Krewlis, who is Triel's ex, will confirm that Cass is not her though.
Then it's on to saving Ord, which one PC, Anari (Bran's sister) is already attempting to do when the rest of the party arrive. Anari is a member of the Stormblades up to that point.
I don't think Bran will be pleased to see his sister take up the adventuring life. She can whip his ass though!

Awesome, Tek! My campaign begins on Feb 15th, so I still have a few weeks to cook up a sinister side-plot or two. I like your Skylar Krewis-Triel Elderast connection angle. One of my PCs (Gronjaer) will know Krewis, as they attended the same sword-training school years earlier. Perhaps Triel attended as well. Hmmmmm...
I look forward to reading more about your campaign after it starts. Good luck and have fun!

I like the idea of changing the name Ike Iverson(which sounded like someone you call a basketball player and not to a cleric) to Ikenar Iverson. Keep up the good work!
One question: Why is Cauldron called the city of shimmering spires?
Yeah, I hated the name "Ike" - not very FR sounding to me. Heck, it's not even fantasy-sounding to me!
Every major city in the FR seems to have a descriptive moniker attached to it. Waterdeep is the City of Splendors, etc. IMC, Cauldron gets its name the City of Shimmering Spires for the architecture of several of the tallest, most prominent buildings (Cathedral of Kelemvor, Bluecrater Academy, Vhalantru's Estate, and a few others). The original builders made use of the obsidian of the region when they constructed the spire-like towers and pinnacles on these buildings. In the right light - usually at dawn and dusk, the sun's rays hit the black, magically polished surfaces of the tops of these buildings, and they sparkle and shimmer like gemstones. I thought it was a neat, kind of gothic touch.

Touchy!
Sure thing. I'm away from home this week on business, but I'll do it when I return this weekend. What's his name? Is he the artist for the picture or something?

I think he's over it now. We slapped him around a bit and stuff some nicorette gum down him.
LOL! My fiance just quit a month ago, so yes I understand EXACTLY what you're dealing with. ;-)
Tell him that the Bran in my campaign is going to play a pivotal role in the party. I plan to use him as an NPC to get the PCs into all sorts of trouble!
