It's too bad this forum has a language filter, because there's really only one word that forms an appropriate response. It has 8 letters and starts with "B."
an 8-letter word that starts with a B might just be something brown that comes out of a male cow. :)

The funny thing about our filtering is that it displays obscuring punctuation, but the original text is really what's stored in the database. So, if you search on the actual word b!+*~!$%, you will find this post (and you'll also identify a couple of other potty-mouthed readers). You'll also notice that if you refresh the page, the obscuring punctuation will change randomly.

As near as I can figure the filter is British too :) I once made a post and saw that it had filtered out a word and I couldn't figure out why until I realized that in the UK it might be considered naughty...
Oh bug ger :)

I always find just using the exclamation point to be a nice way around the language filter. For example, if our Wereplatypus had used the exclamation point in his "Wierdest Gamer" post, we would have know he played with a man named D!ck instead of d!#%. Language...it's fun and funny.
S+$~, I should have thought of that.

I just subscribed to dragon and dungeon , i personally would love to see the occational article in dragon that is about a 3rd party products that are 100% dnd.
I think there are quite afew 3rd party dnd procucts out there that are still dnd and everyone once in awhile would be cool to read about in dragon.
I wouldn't be interested in d20 articles that are about alternate systems like modern or spycraft ect tho.

Ditto. For example FFG's products, like Traps & Treachery, would be nice. Heck, even include some stuff about Iron Heroes (all time best variant PHB ever!) However, I could see how this could be a problem. I'll have to let this "percolate".

"What kind of kung-fu do you study?"

...But with reference to the main subject of this debate, what I'd like to see is more suggestions on converting material from other games to make it useful in D&D to make better use of the materials that are out there. I also think notes on adapting materials to different types of campaigns and even to other games would be really helpful...
Hehe... Regarding the language filter (lol!), just remember, Pussy is a town in France, and F#*~ing is village in Austria...
