In some of the stat blocks there is a 'B' listed besided some feats of the NPC.

Exactly what does that mean?

It stands for bonus feat and marks either racial bonus feats of bonus feats from special classes levels (i.e. fighter). The other feats (without the b) are the ones you normally get according to your hit dice (1,3,6,9,...)
