3.5E conversion

Shackled City Adventure Path

Is there a 3.5E conversion for the earlier adventures that were published in 3E format?

No, there are no conversions available.

This would be a recommendable effort, where we could help Paizo to do conversions to 3.5 for the older issues (even prior to 3rd Edition...?), that could also be hosted here on the web site. This way we could build our own player's handouts and send them to the guys at Paizo, so that they can post them on their site. This would be helpful for maps and portraits, since they are easy to check. Conversions are much more difficult, because the questions arises who will check those new stats for errors.

I would love to see conversions to 3.5 of classic Dungeon modules... say, for example, Mud Sorceror's Tomb. I think they should only convert 1st or 2nd edition modules. 3rd edition require very little effort to convert to 3.5, since they are so similar and based on the same ruleset.

For that matter, sequels to these classic modules would be welcome as well.

I agree with you Squid!
Mud Sorceror's Tomb was (and still is!) one of my all time favourites. If any beg for sequels, this one does. What an adventure path it could be! I wish I had the Authors e-mail!
Yes, I love follow ups!

It appears that the e-Tools people are releasing Data Packs for the Adventure Path, presumably in 3.5. Take a look:

I just converted them myself. It was a good exercise to get used to the subtleties of 3.0 to 3.5. I haven't started running it yet, I will in January (need to get all the figures painted), but I intend to build a website with a forum (for player discussions) so I will eventually post the stat blocks. I'd still advise changing them yourself, you can tweak them to include feats etc from the splat books (although Paizo tend to do this anyway).

what are the splat books?

Why are they called 'splat books'?

Haven't you ever dropped one on the table?

The core books, btw, are called thump books

converting from 3.0 to 3.5 is easy. what i want know is are there any plans for converting 2nd. edition adventures to the current one?

Can anyone tell me what issues/episodes of the adventure path are 3.0. I am assuming that some are 3.5.
