I once played a Kenku Archivist (from Heroes of Horror). Before the first round of combat I would make an archivist roll to discern the "flaw" that the monster had and announce it to the other PCs so that they may benefit from the creatures weakness. Mainly, I roll, yell "Kick him in the nuts!", then we would all attack. lol

Might as well go dwarf instead, if you plan on wasting a feat of Bastard Sword (dwarves get the 1d10 dwarven waraxe for free, plus they have darkvision, plus they have stability, etc.)

I am playing a Human for Role-playing purposes, I don't consider Exotic Weapon Prof. a "waste" of a feat if a Bastard sword is what I wish to weild as a weapon. I don't normally build a character around "racial" abilities, I build them to create a character that I will enjoy playing.

Pathfinder only or do you get other 3.5 books as well?

Also, what's your weapon?

I have all the 3.5 books but am looking only to use Pathfinder materials. My weapon is a Bastard sword.I am tacking on a sheild for bashing and such. So now, where do I go from here?

A few revisions aside, I am going:

Human- Exotic Weapon Prof. (Bastard Sword)
1st Lvl- Power Attack
Fighter- Cleave

I really like your build Ice Titan. I am shooting for a 2H in-your-face type character and this may just do the trick.

Ok, I am making a fighter character for a hopefully long campaign. This is our first crack at using the Pathfinder rules. Now that fighters gain a feat at every level, I'm having a hard time trying to prioritize feats. As a straight up brute, I am cosidering this starting out, but need help for second level and beyond. Help?

Level 1
Human- Power Attack
Feat- Cleave
Fighter Feat- Weapon Focus

Level 2 - 20 ???

Merry Christmas & Happy Holidays too all!

I agree with Gworeth. With new spells coming around in every book WotC releases, you simply cant know them all. Besides, you have to "pray" for your spells beforehand, so technically you only have a set number you may cast, until you decide to pray for a new batch anyway. I usually get nominated for the role of cleric in our sessions, and find myself picking the same spells over & over again (after a while, you can pretty much figure out what spells you'll need based on your DM's style of play).

Regardless of the outcome of 4.0, I will continue to play, and love, 3.5 As I have enough books, modules (yes, I said it right), and supplemental material to last a lifetime that I purchased the "last go 'round" Wizards decided to change everything around. Dont get me wrong, I was eagerly anticipating 4.0, but having purchased and read the 3 core books, I feel the changeover was not necessary. With that, I feel I have enough imagination to continue on with 3.5 in the unforseeable future, despite the lack of future products for said game system. This Sunday, as with every Sunday for the past 27 years (since I was 12, you do the math), We will be playing D&D at my house. Whether it be Advanced D&D or 3.5, but that will be about it.

I wish paizo would take a que from Green Ronin and lower the cost of PDF back issues of Dungeon magazine to $2.00 a pop. Then maybe I could afford all the Age of Worms issues!

I just finished reading the PDF for issue #1 and am blown away by the detail and care that went into the issue. My hope is that Paizo continues this trend in its future issues. If so, consider me a long term subscriber!
