I've been an avid fan of Pathfinder since it was in Beta. I ran many Pathfinder Society scenarios at PaizoCons and Gen Cons of the past (PFS #1250). I'm proud to call many in this community friends and look forward to the next opportunity to game together.

To host a d20Pro game as GM you will need the $30 Full License, which will never expire. The $10 Player License only lets you join a game. The Full License includes two Guest Slots though, so two computers can connect for free to that game. The person running the game and anyone playing in the game can control any number of PCs.

So for your scenario it would be $30 for the software, one time. And you can test it out with the free 30 day trial as well. The Trial License allows you to host a game as GM.

There is some good info here in our quick start guide. I recommend you read it before installing d20Pro.
