as any Star Wars fan worth his salt ought to know, Han Solo won the Millennium Falcon from Lando Calrissian while playing a high-stakes card game---the name of that game? Sabacc.
As a middle-schooler, one of my equally-geeky friends noticed the similarity between my last name and the famous card game, and decided to use it as my nickname. We, being young fellows, didn't realize that we had misspelled "sabacc," adding an extra "b," and by the time we did, the name (misspelling and all) had stuck.]
