What my question is, however, is anyone else besides me showing their next pathfinder volume to be shipped as 17? Computer error somewhere I'm hoping, Id really much like 15 and 16 first :) Mine is also saying subscription page wrote:
I hope this is an error somewhere, and that 15 is actually the next one, hopefully in late Oct? :)
Fatespinner wrote: Are you primarily interested in doing missions and occassional guard duty or are you more of a PvP nut? Definitely missions/guard duty. In fact that is actually what my concept for the character as I round out his skills is. Former soldier, now doing mining, and the occasional 'merc' run to supplement income. Granted EVE doesn't seem to supply much for RP stuff within the game as it's not overly story driven, but I still like to do what I can with character concepts. Currently on a 20 jump run through 'safe' (hi-sec) areas to get to Amdonen as I post this. As far as not seeing you all during the day, I knew that. I will be on occasionally at night as well, so hopefully I'll be able to catch you some time.
Hello all, Been working on getting my wife's permission to add another game to my MMO list, and finally got it. Luckily it was still during trial account time as well so I didn't lose any time in the account. Am interested in joining, if you all can use a Gallente soldier (name: Mynthor) in the corp. Currently running with the Gallente destroyer (Catalyst) as my main ship, with a couple of frigates running backup just in case something happens. Working on getting skills up to the point I can use battleships , and also do mining on the side. Usually play EVE during day, then switch over to other MMOs during the night while doing longer training sessions (ahh, the joys of being a stay at home parent :P )
Hey all, me again. For someone who doesn't post much, I sure have been doing a bit lately.
Spoiler:
Had a question referencing the Goblin Warchanter on pg12. Nothing big, especially considering how short the fight with it most likely will be, but when looking at the combat stats, I notice that her shortbow damage does not add up to what I expect. In the book, it shows 1d4+1, but I add it to be 1d4 (my figures: 1d4base for small shortbow, -1 for STR, +1 for Inspire Courage effect.) I know that bows don't add STR (unless it's a composite,) but they do count the penalty in, right? Like I said, nothing big, but just thought I'd check.

*Smacks head* Yeah, I realized this after I was a little more awake. That's what I get for doing stuff just after waking up from a 30 minute nap at the computer desk. And I couldn't get back onto the boards to delete the message fast enough. Really need to get some more sleep than Pathfinder and children are letting me get.
Argh!! Hit another snag... Spoiler:
Goblin Warchanter on pg12, listed with Exotic Weapon Proficiency:Whip feat. With a BAB of 0, how does it have this? Plus it also has Combat Reflexes feat as well, and as far as I can tell, it should only have one feat, not two. No it's not a major issue, just trying to see which way to go on this one. Sorry to be a pest today, especially since I don't post that much in the first place. *grin*
Hit a question with this item from the RotRLPG: Hide Shirt. In the description it says that it is light armor, but on the chart, it's listed as medium. I'd assume that the description is correct with it as a light. Then again, it is an additional +1 to the standard hide armor AC and other stats the same (excepting movement), so it could work be medium (with an error on the move rate.) Any ideas on this one?
Ok, maybe I'm blind and can't see it on my maps, or any reference here on the boards, but the text refers to a couple of areas that I'm not finding. Spoiler: Specifically looking for areas C25 (Submerged Sea Cave) and C26 (Sea Cave). Now I figure that one is the northern entrance to C27 (Bunyip Lair), and the other is the southwestern one, but just curious as to which is which? Any suggestions?
Actually, they are allowed to do it. Having worked in a copy shop for several years (and being a manager for 2 of those) I had to stay up on copyright. As long as it has the line on the hard copy original stating personal use is ok, and it is for your personal use there is no problem. I have seen some shops take the hardline approach, stating that THEY cannot make the copies, but most will not have a problem with it. The big thing is that the personal use exemption needs to be available for them to see.
My own personal rule for the campaigns I DM is this, if I do not have the book, then nobody gets anything major from it. By major I mean anything along the lines of classes, artifacts, etc. Spells, most magic items, mundane equipment, and such I will usually allow. Regardless of what it is, I still look over before allowing anything into any of my campaigns.
FWIW...as a DM, in my campaigns, I would say that a cleric could use the unused slot for spontaneous casting, but it would take longer (i.e. casting time of 1 minute instead of standard action). So you better stabilize the patient first, then you're asking your deity to heal, but since you don't have the 'powered' slot, you are also asking for the extra 'power' that wasn't asked for earlier, so it takes longer than normal. |
