Looking for players for a low-fantasy urban homebrew PF campaign. I have two players on board already, but the more the merrier, right?
The city of Haven has always done good business, despite the best efforts of the customs officials of a dozen kingdoms. But now a different danger threatens the good(?) citizens of Haven: someone is muscling in on the action, and they want in bad.
My background as a GM: primarily Call of Cthulhu, Cyberpunk 2020, and Traveller. I severely dislike "magic shop on every streetcorner" worlds, since it makes the magic seem less, well, magical. I believe that acquiring a magic item should be a significant and somewhat rare event. I like slow-to-average XP progressions. I reward creative problem-solving, good tactical thinking, and good roleplaying. Feel free to optimize your character, but remember, I have a stack of Bestiaries, Monster Manuals, and assorted 3.5 goodies, and like to do some optimizing of my own...
I am looking for laid-back, mature players with a sense of humor and a low tolerance for out-of-game drama. My players should also not measure success in GP. Don't be afraid to set personal goals for your PCs. Kingdom-building is encouraged, but party backstabbing is not.
