About peacockjohn

Backstory: Home Location - (Barrier Wall, Osirion) Maular's mother Asrealla, a loyal member to the church of Irori prayed for her god to send her the love of her life to end her lonely existence. In answer to her prayers, the never before seen mythical winged protector of the valley Turalan, a beautiful winged Garuda was sent to visit her. They fell in love yet Turalan could not let his love interfere with his duty as the guardian of the Barrier Wall, so he was more often away than with his beloved. This personal conflict came to a head when a trade caravan that Asrealla was traveling on was attacked by a huge band of Gnoll raiders. Newborn Maular was with his mother on this caravan and became the only survivor of the attack. Turalan used his own body to try and protect both Maular and his mother when it became apparent that he was out numbered and couldn't protect everyone and he perished for it. Maular was taken as a slave after the attack, but was rescued shortly afterward when word of the attack spread. The church of Irori would not stand for having bandits killing not only members of their church, but also the protector of the Barrier Wall that was Turalan. A sizable fighting force from Tar Kuata attacked the Gnoll raiders and freed Maular. Seeing that Maular may possibly be fill the gap that was left after Turalan's death, the Half-elf Narmek "the wise" raised Maular and trained him in the Martial Arts. In following with the tenants of Irori, Maular sets out on a quest of enlightenment to expand his knowledge of the world around him.
