I am new to Pathfinder and I'm sure this was covered at some point but - indulge me here. lol!
In the Core rules I can find nothing in the Sorcerer description that suggests they still get a familiar yet in other Pathfinder books it says they do.
ie: The Gazetteer (page 15)
Class Abilities: Sorcerers raised on the Isle of Hermea do not call familiars like others from the mainland. They instead focus their development on harnessing their inner reserve of magic, for use in times of need. This ability replaces the summon familiar ability.
Which is correct - do Sorcerers still get familiars? Or did I miss something in the Core rules?
Thanks!
