The wording is confusing to me.
"At any time during the spell’s duration, you can expend the spell’s remaining duration as an immediate action in order to gain a one-time mental enhancement associated with the ability score you chose to visualize, as detailed below. After you do so, the spell ends."
Does that mean I end the previous effect and instead the new effect listed below for 1 minute, or does that mean I have all of it and the new duration is only 1 minute left, instead of the longer duration it was before?
-So I cast the spell and choose INT and get a +5 bonus to INT Skills.
-Then, I do the thing that gives me a +HD bonus(+3 from it being a class skill) to a skill I dont have ranks in, let's say spellcraft.
-I make a spellcraft check.
Do I:
-get a +5 bonus, and then drop that, and get +HD+3?
or
-get a +5 bonus, and then add on to that +HD+3?
