I will admit, I designed these characters to burn through cards pretty quickly, with the expectation that Poog would be given cards pretty often for healy-goodness. They're goblins, so they're not terribly good at being careful. I'm glad you guys had a good time, despite that fact!

Hey Jeff! Here is the link to Lisa Stevens' post about the University moving to a hex known as Old Kindleburn (there used to be an NPC settlement there, but it was moved a bot further south, leaving a vacant settlement hex in the wilderness).

Generally gurps is an easygoing system, you build a character generally template free unless you use a package, characters are generally not a specific level, but are point based 100-150 points would be roughly equal to a level 1 character, GMs would award an additional number of points after each adventure/adventure path.
Characters are defined by a series of Advantages, Disadvantages, and Quirks, Flaws
Advantages and Quirks cost points, while Disadvantages and flaws increase your spending pool. I.e. as a 150 point Character I could take a 75 point Fighter Package and take drunken and flashbacks to give me an extra 30 character points to spend on skills and advantages.
