I am really sorry man! Saving throw vs bed failed! I really tried to get up in time to make the game (along with Battleraven) we turned off the alarm and just passed out again. I'm really sad to hear no one else made it either. It really was nothing personal we were looking forward to playing in the game. We did drop by at 11 to apologize and found that the game wasn't going on. Sincere apologies from us both.

I would like to point out that a Frostbrand is a specific weapon with special abilities above and beyond what a weapon with the Frost tag has. I would also like to note that if your PC's are creating the weapon no where do the rules state that you *cannot* make the activation word the same for both abilities.I think too many people are stuck on Flaming and Frost. Are there any other +1 equivalent weapon enchantments which cancel each other out? Are there any other weapon enchantments that cancel each other out anywhere? (I admit there could be I don't own all the books but there certainly aren't in the Core rulebook) Are those abilities so incredibly powerful that they *need* to be made exclusive of each other? If I can stack Lawful, Bane, Wounding, and Vorpal without a problem why in the world would there be an issue with me stacking two elemental effects? I do agree that the wording on the Frost, Shocking and Flaming special abilities is open to some interpretation but I think logic shows no reason to make the special abilities exclusive.

A couple of quick clarifications if you would: For Ayar: I want to make sure I am reading this correctly. He is a Conjurer with Necromancy and Divination as opposition schools? Where does the tracked shift ability come from? What book does desperate focus come from? (I'm assuming it is a trait). I'm amused to note he has brew potions and the Alchemical prodigy feat for cure light wounds potions yet has no potions at all.For Perin: What type of humanoid is his dagger bane against? Where is the silversheen weapon ability detailed? Deadeye Aim seems an unusual choice since the only weapons he carries are the two daggers he uses to two-weapon fight. Is he supposed to have more daggers or a ranged weapon? He has neither Craft: Mapmaking or Profession: Cartographer but carries a mapmaking kit, which seems odd.

36 here, I played for the first time in 82 at age 8. I somehow wormed my way into filling in for a college student who was absent IIRC the DM was running the Palace of the Silver Princess. I had to wait another three years to play again (well at least with rules) and played the Red Box with another boy my age.
