Oracles of wisdom,

My group has been playing Rise of the Runelords. However due to real life complications we're down to 3 players.

We've a fighter, a swashbuckler and myself a rogue. To have a more balanced party I wanted to create a new character.

I was thinking of becoming a rogueish caster with face skills.
Playing any caster will be new for me however I was thinking of making an arcane trickster. As a person that has only played a ranger and a rogue so far there is A LOT of information to digest hence I wanted to ask the forums for help. Especially since the character would start at level 6.

I read about the early entry feat (accomplished sneak attacker) to get early access to AT. However I'm wondering how it impacts my character, it feels more natural to get 2 levels of UC Rogue to get a rogue talent: Fast Stealth and Evasion.

Is there anybody that would like to spar with me and help me create a viable build?

As a new player I would like to get some advice on a build either a Ranger Skirmisher with a focus on archery or a Rogue for the RoTRL AP.

All official material is allowed; races etc.

The group (3) consists of a dhampir swashbuckler, a human wizard and me. Love playing a sneakish character however the more I read about the rogue they seem to underpowered especially as a lot of the damage is circumstantial (flanking etc.).

Ranger: Based on the ROTRL player companion a dwarf would probably be nice to play however going archery based human probably fits well as well.
Rogue: Human seems to make most sense.

What do you guys advice playing?

Fellow adventurers,

I'm starting a RotRl campagaign with four of my friends (we're all inexperienced) and this will be our first dip into Pathfinder and roleplaying in general. Our GM is rather experienced and he helped create our characters.

The other players are:

Dwarf Fighter
Elf Wizard
Human or half-elf witch

And I would probably play a human rogue.

Is a human rogue a good addition to the group? I'm not really comfortable (yet) with roleplaying a bard or cleric. Are there any other classes that would help the group out better?

When my pick is final I'll ask some more in depth questions about my build.

Thanks in advance.
