Thanks for the help guys, the link to the subforum was really helpful

In an effort to mitigate PC power level, I required the players to only use the CRB for creation and progression, on top of a 15 pt buy. I don't think the speed of combat is an issue, as I would guess the average combat lasts 5-6 rounds or 45 -60 minutes.

I don't know how to add the spoiler tag so...

Spoiler:
Last session we covered the akata seige, the meeting with Zincher (no combat, just RP), the western lighthouse, an elemental combat at the crater I added, searching for skymetal, guard duty at the zincher camp, and finally the players ambushed Zincher on his way to meet with the Drow and plan on confronting them at the beginning of next session.

Maybe the issue lies with me and the roleplaying outside of combat. I guess chalk this up to my lack of experience on the other side of the GM screen.

I am curious to know if anyone else supplemented SD with anything else and if so, what material did you use?

Thanks

Hi all,

Thanks in advance for any help you can offer me. I don't know if this is where it should be posted, so please excuse if it is in the wrong spot.

I have recently starting running the Second Darkness adventure path and things are going great except one thing.

I have a party of experienced players and they are speeding through the content. We are about to wrap book 2 after only 6 total sessions (3 session for Shadow in the Sky and 3 for Children of the Void).

Our session are generally 6 hours long. I have added the set pieces in the back of the books and also included some other encounters of my own design as well.

My biggest concern, is that I am rewarding the players a level per session basically to keep them at the right level for the encounters. I would really like to keep it closer to 2 or 3 session before leveling.

Are there any scenarios you could recommend to add to this adventure path?

Help and thanks

Hello

I was hoping you could check on this order for me. I know you are backed up with the sale and all but I placed the order on October 2nd and it has still not arrived. I appreciate any updates you can give me

Thanks

I am trying to build a dragon disciple for PFS play but I can't seem finalize my decisions. I am looking for advice in regard to traits and two different feat progressions I will present.

Aasamir (angle blooded)

Str: 16 +2 race, +1 lvl, +1 lvl, +1 lvl, +2 class, +2 class
Dex: 12
Con: 14 +2 class
Int: 10
Wis: 8
Cha: 14 +2 race

Level 1-Paladin (divine hunter:Precise shot (class) Flag bearer (level) (alternate feat: weapon focus any)
Level 2-Paladin
Level 3-Bard (Arcane Duelist):Arcane strike (class) Lingering performance (level) (alternate feat: intimidating prowess)
Level 4-Bard : Combat casting (class)
Level 5-Bard : Weapon focus spear (level) (alternate feat: dazzling display)
Level 6-Dragon disciple
Level 7-Dragon disciple : Power attack (bloodline) ? (level)
Level 8-Dragon disciple
Level 9-Dragon disciple : ?
Level 10-Dragon disciple : Toughness (bloodline)
Level 11-Dragon disciple : ? (level)
Level 12-Dragon disciple

I really like the dazzling display route, but I don't know how effective it is.

Open to most ideas, but I would like to keep the race, and class the same. Thanks for any help you offer.

Also, I have heard that you can swap out the spell like abilities of the assamir, but I can't find the rules for it.

Thanks

Thanks,

I the problem was, I reported the session to my -2 before I actually created him. I made a -3 and then edited the session to give him credit and that seems to have done the trip. I really appreciate the help guys.

Hello,

I don't even know if this is where I am supposed to post this question, but I don't know what else to do. I recently GM'd the Night March of Kalkamedes and I used my second character ID # to as my GM ID#. The problem is, my second character has not yet received the credit for the session. I had to make the second character to apply the credit, and it has been 4 days since I reported the session. Any help or direction on what to do or who to ask would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
