Dark Naga! It says in the monster description that they covet the wealth and luxury that cities provide. I can see one down in the sewers as a boss monster, commanding their minions (troglodytes, wererats, goblins, etc.). And they could have bigger, tougher monsters charmed to act as guardians!

Quicken Spell is a great feat, but as it adds +4 level you could not use it for 2nd-level spells right now, only first. Selective Channeling would be useful to heal your buddies and not the baddies in tight quarters for your final confrontation. Improved Initiative is also always a solid choice!

Kineticist can do some really cool things, but the Nomad fits the Nightcrawler template best. At 2nd level, unlimited teleports up to 15 feet, and it increases by 5 feet every 2 levels. At 8th level you get a 50% miss chance due to "inconstant position." Feels very Nightcrawler to me! Combine that with the Stealth and Sneak Attack of a rogue, and you could have a very fun character.

If your campaign is into Psionics at all, the Nomad (Psionicist) would blow everything else away. You get the ability to do short teleports at 2nd level! You could combine with levels of Rogue to get sneak attack, skills, and better weapons.

Some slaads have DR/lawful. It's not much, but at least it exists.

Seems to me the Golarion fluff is pretty important. At least four of the Top 32 had it, which given the apparently hundreds of entries is a pretty fair percentile of the Top 32. Evidently Plane of Shadow/illusion items are golden too, as there are at least four of those too. I guess if you created a shadow/illusion item with Golarion content this year you would have REALLY been on the yellow brick road.
