So, your character is Lawful Evil and you want to be a Cleric of Iomedae and become Sanctified as such (as Iomedae forces sanctification)?

Without being as sarcastic as Gortle, there's an obvious issue in your line of thought.

I'm asking if its possible by the rules. I do recognize the issue of ideological divide between Iomedae and the character, although he acts a dutiful knight and leader, he has no qualms about torture, taking prisoners as slaves, or extorting political opponents and dissidents "for the greater good of the kingdom".

I probably will not take Iomedae, but wow, IS it hard to get true strike on a divine caster with Gorum now gone.

The official rules don't have a mix of both pre-Remaster and Remaster content.

Pre-Remaster, you can have a LE character, but there is no Sanctification mechanic.

Remaster you have the Sanctification mechanics, but if you still have the LE designation on your character, it is for flavor and character description only - there are no mechanics tied to it. So having that alignment isn't going to prevent Sanctification.

The Sanctification feature says:

Sanctification
Depending on your deity, their sanctification can make you holy or unholy. This gives you the holy or unholy trait, which commits you to one side of a struggle over the souls of the planes and may be referenced in other abilities. If you “can be” holy or unholy according to your deity, you make that choice, and if you “must be” holy or unholy you gain the trait automatically. If you gain the opposing trait in some way, you lose the previous trait until you complete an atone ritual.

Is there any guidelines on how a holy or unholy PC should act? Can a holy PC be selfish or not nice, as long as that does not violate their deities anathema?

Currently playing a fighter with oracle dedication (godclaw hellknight), looking to branch out to cleric dedication when i'll be able to. Considering the new anathema and edicts system that replaces alignment, can I select Iomedae or a similarly good\neutral deity as long as my PC does not violate its anathema and follows its edicts?

As the topic says, what arcane schools do you think should have been part of the remastered wizard from the get go?

I'm not asking for advice on how to make them myself. Obviously I can homebrew my own. I'm just curious about what the community, and especially Wizard mains, would have added.

I'll go first;

School of Necromancy. Given how a necromancer is such an iconic fantasy wizard,
and how a necromancer (Tar Baphon) has had such a major and lasting effect on Golarion, it seems amazing to me that there isn't a school dedicated to it.
The School of Boundary seems the closest to an undead/death magic focused wizard.

School of Extraplanar Servants. Another iconic image is that of a wizard summoning and binding or bargaining with extraplanar creatures. Again, with so many examples of fiends, genies etc being summoned to great effect in Golarion lore, it's a bit surprising there aren't schools dedicated to it.

What do you think? What schools do you think are missing? Alternatively, what schools have you come up with for your own games?

Necromancy should have been an arcane school post-remaster. Perhaps named "School of Void Wizardry" or "School of Unlife".
