I am using the "recruitment" forum because I figured it would make more sense to introduce the people that are going to be in the game here and not just dump them in the game.

While the game is set in the DC universe, we are using the newest Marvel Superheroes rules. We understand them, from a character generation standpoint, and from a mechanical standpoint. I (as the storyteller and also a player of a previous Marvel game) really appreciate the storytelling standpoint of the character generation.

I am looking into getting the latest DC Heroes rules at my local used books store, but hopefully we can make this work. Then I can run more games.

This is a game set in the DC universe following the events of "The New 52" but with a difference. The idea of superheroes being real is still hard for regular people to swallow. You are one of the new 'recruits' that have been taken to Perfection, New Mexico. Welcome to hell nugget.

I am sorry to say this but I have to bow out. I have tried to balance all that life has thrown at me and this PbP, but alas I fell on my ass.

When is this game going to start? I only ask so that I have the character ready when it is the time to start.

Killer, would you mind if I joined in this game? I have not yet gotten a chance to play Pathfinder but I really want to, and I do not have the time to commit to games being held at my local gaming store (the spring semester just started). If so, I would like to play either a cleric or sorcerer.

I would rather play a half elf, cleric of Shelyn... named Jacen Winter. :)

Though I have yet to play the Pathfinder system, I am interested in this. Put me down as an alternate.

p.s. Are there any specific rules I should know for character creation? The character I had in mind is a Human fighter named Jacen Winter.

I am also a player looking for a PBP game. It is nice to find someone who likes playing the healer. I usually get stuck playing the healer (in my tabletop rpgs) because the group is arcane or melee heavy but has no healers.

I am Ostran, the halfling Storm Sorcerer.

Since we already have a cleric and we no longer have an 'arcane' power source, then I will make a halfling sorcerer. I will email you the details once I hash them out.
