Scarab Sages 4/5

I like that they are doing this. For wizards especially (I.e. Researchers) there would be variants of spells that look like others but with a twist.

Either way, playing the AP gets me out of the house with people one day a week for months. That makes it worth playing. PFS credit is always icing on the cake for me. Personally I am running a group of brand new players through the Emerald Spire before introducing tech though...

Congrats, Del!

Yes it does. If it is added to the list and is now legal, you can take it with the Primal Companion mystery.

The fact that it bypasses hardness it it's primary reason for getting an adamantine blade. You can also take a weapon and use adamantine weapon blanch (200gp) to give yourself a one hit with adamantine or 10 arrows/sling stones/bullets. Good for when you don't have the money yet to pay for it or you don't want to give up a favorite enchanted weapon.

I actually disagree that this thread should be closed. The person was asking what scenarios would provide flavor items for his characters. Most of the ones that have been mentioned (QfP for example) are part of a series which you must complete all parts on in order to get the coveted item. This isn't about cherry picking, it's about just advising. It's no different than recommending one archetype over another: It's information. If some inscrupulious GMs want to use the information posted to "cherry pick" scenarios that is their fault and loss. Often any boon is a balance. My players like scenarios with items that are outside of their Fame allowance as it gives them the opportunity to try out items.
