I'm having some trouble understanding how a mythic legendary item goes from being a regular item at Level 1 to a minor artifact at Level 3.

If you select an item, something like one of the cloaks that gives +6 to reflex, +5 to the other two, as your Legendary Item at Mythic Level 1...when you advance to Level 3, can you select another item? If you do, what happens to the Level 1 item? Or can you select the Level 1 item again, and somehow it becomes a minor artifact?

How do you get to choose a minor artifact if you want one? Would you have to wait until you're Level 3 and then choose the same artifact twice?

To me, it's pretty confusing. I got a legendary item at Level 1. Now, at Level 3, I want something totally different, a minor artifact. Is there a way for me to do this?

I'm a Human Cleric 8/Hierophant 1. Took Mythic Spell Lore. I'm chaotic evil. Took Cure Critical Wounds as mythic spell. Several questions...

1. How many times can I cast this spell? Once? Or can I use a Mythic Power (I have the base of 5) to cast it?

2. Since I can spontaneously cast Inflict Critical Wounds, can I "convert" the mythic Cure into mythic Inflict?

3. Is Cure Critical Wounds and Mythic Cure Critical Wounds different? In other words, if I choose to select Cure Critical 2x for the day, would that give me extra Mythic?

As you can see, I'm not all clear on this Mythic stuff...this is our first week, and I'm trying to maximize my potential without inadvertently cheating, and I don't wanna screw myself either!

People here were very helpful with another question so I'm back, trying to break something else and get myself in trouble.

I have a 10th level Drow Ninja I'm putting together. He has +20 to stealth. I'm looking to make him invisible and stealthy on all attacks so I can get the 5d6 extra sneak attack damage. So I'm thinking that I use a Wand of Invisibility, Greater, so that I can be stealthy, and invisible, and stay that way (invisible) when I attack.

What I need help is convincing my GM that what I'm doing is legal. I need to know how the rolls and rules work. I start off with +20 in stealth, then add my d20 roll. Or do I use the wand first? It gives me a +40 bonus to stealth if I'm not moving, and +20 if I am moving.

So let's say I use the wand first, so now for 10 rounds I'm invisible, and moving. So I get a +20 bonus to stealth. I get +20 from my skills. So before I roll my d20, I'm +40? Assume I get a 10. So I'm invisible, and +50 stealth.

Now I attack, and get my sneak attack damage. At this point, where am I on the stealth meter? I'm still invisible. Do I take a -20 to stealth for attacking, putting me at 30? Is 30 still stealthy enough, along with invisibility, that I can request sneak attack damage for my next attack?

Guidance, suggestions, tips, and anything else useful (including a slap in the head if I'm missing something obvious) would be appreciated. You guys are far more experienced than I and I'm hoping you'll have some suggestions on how best to maximize the damage.

I'm wondering if it is possible to hit the same creature multiple times with an attack like Fire Snake. Assume I'm a 10th Level Sorcerer, and I cast it starting with one creature that is X distance away. I then "snake" it one square away, then reverse direction and hit it a second time, move it away, then back for a third strike, and so on, until I'm out of movement. If I hit it five times this way, it should take 5 x 10d6 damage, correct? Just trying to understand how line and this spell can work. I get that it can hit multiple targets alone a line, but am intrigued about hitting one tough target more than once. Thanks in advance for assistance with this.
