in PFS when I GM, I do the same, not CdG players. Zinkio moved away and tried to jump high enough to be able to grapple the creature. Jump DC20: 1d20 + 9 + 8 ⇒ (11) + 9 + 8 = 28 Zinkio gain +8 to jump thanks to his speed of 50ft.
Jumping high enough, the iron arms of Zinkio closed around the creature waist.

Zinkio bowed to Kiyoshi and help the excavators bury the body again. Seeing Tessara using a wand Zinkio asked her. Tessara san, do you know how using this wand ? It's a wand of mage armor. Very useful for me but I'm not able to use it myself.

These past time, Zinkio travelled a lot with the Pathfinder Society. His last trip was in the western Taldor, dealing with plague and fey. He was happy to go back in Magnimar which was the first city he visited in the Inner See region after having left Tian Xa. When meeting his comrades he bowed to each, maybe a little more to Kyoshi, and said I am Zinkio and little more. Zinkio is not tall but all muscle. He has the average size of the human of the Dragons Empire, but his heritage marked him as a monstrosity or an abnormality. That's why he counts more on his strength than his charisma to be listen. He had no armor and except for a few wands, potions and other classical stuff he had only one weapon, a strange one made of three part each one linked by a short chain. Know.
