I agree, in fact, i am all in of giving EXP bonus to those that solve the puzzles in a different way, but the thing is, that I need a source of puzzles, easy ones, little, not too long.

The Book of Puzzles or something like that, from D&D 3.0 gave me some good ones, but they are kinda long, I need "How to open this door" puzzles.

So I am currently being GM of a PF party, and I want to throw some thinking challenges, besides the "splat the monster and grab the moneybag" challenge.

Any recommendation of where I could find some intel? I don't want to think, I want a book that shows me cute puzzles to put them into my campaign

Yeah, but still, lvls are kinda wrong, it gives you a replacement at lvl 5th, and lvl 6 Ki powers, then again a replacement at lvl 7, and lvl 8 Ki powers, and so on...

Seems odly wrong to me.

Kinda contradictory too, why does it says "A qinggong monk can learn additional ki powers" if you can't?

I am currently playing a PF campaign as a GM, and one of my players has a Qinggong Monk. He has reached lvl 5, and when I was reading the Qingongg monk description carefuly I noticed something.

"Ki powers are abilities that draw on the power of a monk’s ki. The standard monk has several abilities that count as ki powers, such as wholeness of body, abundant step, and empty body. A qinggong monk can learn additional ki powers, which often replaces a non-ki monk ability such as purity of body. Ki powers are divided into three categories: feats, monk abilities, and spells.

Now, I've surfed around this places, but didn't got any true answer, since people argue about how good is the writing of the rule, and not the rule itself.

Is there an answer for this? You can actualy trade "Non-ki" Monk abilities, such as Purity of Body, for Ki powers listed on the QM list?

If so, which other "non-ki" monk abilities can you swap? Maneuver Training? Still mind? Evasion?

So im trying to put it togheter but it's taking me hours to understand how does it works, can somebody gimme a hand?

4 hs for 2hs work, but if it's an controlled place it worths 4 hs?

Can i get a secure place with a spell? Like Secure Shelter or something like that?

"Mounted Mastery (Ex)

At 8th level, the cavalier ignores the armor check penalty when using the Ride skill, regardless of whether or not the creature he is riding is his mount. Whenever he makes a charge attack while mounted, he receives a +4 dodge bonus to his AC to avoid attacks set against his charge. When making such an attack, he can add his mount’s Strength modifier to the damage roll, in addition to his own. He also receives a bonus feat, chosen from the following list: Mounted Combat, Ride-By Attack, Skill Focus (Ride), Spirited Charge, Trample, or Unseat. He must qualify for the feat selected."

Does my mount STR multiplies by 3 when i charge with my lance and Spirited Charge? It's not aditional Dice dmg, it's STR dmg so it should multiply.

Am i correct?
So if my Lion has 25 STR at my 8th Cavalier lvl i would get a +21 (+7x3) on my charge atks dmg?

So bottom line

Can't pounce With Spring Atk And Ryde-By Atk, unless your GM alows you to do it.

Can pounce with Ride-By Atk if your mount ends it's charge into an enemy.

If i wear a Rhino Hide +2d6 on charge atks, and i have Spirited Charge, does that makes 6d6 dmg on a charge?
Or it just multiplies the Lance modifiers?

Yeah but i can move before and after the Attack cause of Ride-By Attack, but the lion would stay adyacent to the enemy it hitted...

So ill go off the lion flying into the sunset?
Does he need spring attack to come with me cause of Ride-By Attack?

I was talking about crafting, about paying more money to get it a little more powerful.

Obviously magic would do the trick... But im not a spellcaster and im not planing on getting one

mi Cavalier, but the AC bonus is kinda low, is there any way that i can improve that AC bonus?

They don't Stack? I mean Spirited Charge + Lance? x5 dmg?
I always thought it was x5 dmg.

It says that if you charge with your Lance u get x2 dmg, normal.
With the feat u do x3 dmg, so its x6 dmg at the end of the day?

Or am i doing weird maths?

So im thinking about building some sort of Multi task warrior.

I wanted to mount a Lion, so ill go Cavalier 7, Beast Master Arquetype.

Ill go Fighter 9, to get lots of feats, and Weapon Training 2

Cause im thinking on get a Lance, (obvious reasons), a longsword, and a bow too, cause i can Full Atk with my bow as long as my mount moves half speed.

So i get a lion to mount, it has 3 feats already,
im a 6 lvl cavalier, which means that my mount has access to 3 feats.

Those feats must be those that the Lion already has?
Can i change those 3 feats the lion already has?
Does it adds 3 new feats that i can chose?

I know the banner adds morale bonus, but can i Choose to be affected? or ill be immune to it just like from the hostile morale effects?

I was overpowered by a bestow curse Yesterday, which drains, or damages, ability points.

Im supposed to be inmune to that, but my GM said it is a curse.

The EFFECT drains and dmgs my ability score, i SHOULD BE inmune.

So am i or not?
