Is this the same case for Ikon feats? Since a lot of them are defined by type, if I have two weapon ikons and they both do slashing can I use Motionless Cutter with both?

Also additional question with some abilities (like Motionless Cutter) if the weapon is versatile can I use the other damage type or must I specifically use Slashing?

I'd assume since you can only have 1 Immanence active at a time, that it just opens your pool from 3 Ikons to 4 Ikons. You aren't choosing which category your Immanence occupies, you are choosing which specific Item is occupied by your Immanence.

Ex. If you have two weapon Ikons (Spear and dagger) and you want to use 4th lvl Hurl at the Horizon. You could use it on both weapons but the spear would have a 30 ft range and the dagger would have a 20 ft thrown range. So one round you strike from 30 ft with the spear, Strike at a foe next to you, use barrow's edge with the spear. Next round your Immanence was shifted to the dagger so you throw at a target 20 ft away (say it has a returning rune), transcend Gleaming Blade with the dagger at a mook that snuck up on you last turn.

Your example of Motionless Cutter would work if both of your ikons deal slashing damage. So in the weapon examples of spear and dagger only the dagger would be able to use the motionless cutter feat. In the case of Motionless cutter you would have to deal Slashing damage to use it. It's pretty unambiguous as far as RAW versus RAI. If you used Piercing damage and try to activate Motionless Cutter, well.... piercing weapons don't cut it.

A follow-up question I would have, is there a way to cast a spell without triggering an attack of opportunity? Or do I just hope I don't die before I get a way to Step away from the situation?

Does the Conceal Spell feat trigger reactions such as attack of opportunity?

I was in a combat situation where I was surrounded on almost all sides with either allies or Enemies with Attack of Opportunity. I didn't really have options to step away and didn't want to provoke from multiple enemies by moving. I would like to cast either Invisibility or a Touch spell. What happens if I use Conceal Spell and cast Either Invisibility or Shocking grasp. Assume I succeed on all enemies with my Stealth Check and Bluff Check.

I ran the first part in a 9-hr session and finished with about 30 minutes to spare. My group took a decent amount of time to role play, and we ended up having 2 encounters at the same as the group split up to explore the town. They did it, but it could have ended horribly. Overall if you do decent role play throughout the first part it will be either two sessions or a long first session.

Encounters:
The Party split up during the mystery investigation to explore a farmhouse outside of town and go on a walk with the mayor.
First fight= Boar
2 party members- This one almost downed a PC on a crit from the charge.
Second fight- 4 Bloodseekers
2 party members + Mayor- Bloodseekers couldn't attach to mayor, nat 1's, but crit the PCS to attach.

I figure the last 2 parts should go faster, with two 5-hour sessions to finish each one. Possibly a third depending how much role play happens.

I was running Incident at Absalom Station and a couple of things stuck out about space combat. Certain creatures (Specific example Akatas) that I assume are meant to be dwellers of space, possess blindsense with the scent ability. I assume there is some way to smell in space but it had my players ask the question: Can you smell anything in space?

Normally smells are distributed via air currents but in the case of open space or 0-atmo situations would a creature that doesn't need to breathe but possesses the scent ability still be able to smell? If the answer is no, why would a creature designed for space have Blindsense (scent)? Also why is a creature that doesn't breathe able to use scent?

I recently ran this and ran into an interesting interaction between the Morlamaw's Skewer special ability and Attacks of Opportunity.

The PC's were moving to get away from the melee Morlamaw's so they provoked attacks quite often. This triggered the skewer effect. What happens when they are skewered exactly, are they moved closer and that movement attempt ends? Or are they moved closer but can continue movement after getting moved closer. I ran it as a opposed strength roll, if the PC won the strength roll they could continue moving after they were pulled back, if not they ended the movement adjacent to the Morlamaw. I also noticed that the morlamaws can chain together skewers to move creatures quite effectively as a group. I had two of them pop a Haan PC out of an airlock for a couple rounds.

I guess the succinct question is whether the skewer ability stops movement.

I've recently acquired a ratfolk boon, and I have a couple of questions:
1. Are daggers and knives different weapons? IRL I know they are but in PFS mechanically are they different?
2. If so Does a ratfolk tailblade count as a dagger or a knife for weapon focus.
3. For the riding rat, Would the statistics of a cavalier mount companion be as follows?

Dire rat companion level 1 (With giant template)
STR-14
DEX-15
CON-16
INT-2
WIS-12
CHA-4

2 feats- Light armor prof, another feat
2 skill points
combat trained + bonus trick

Bite 1d6+3, add disease at fourth level advancement. DC based off con. Does not use dex for swim and climb checks, or Attack rolls , no bonus for size to AC, Attack, or stealth.
