Zandu never knew his mother, but was raised by his father a kind toymaker by the name of Iozif. However the village where Iozif lived was at the foot of the Mindspin Mountains and the village was overrun by orc raiders from Belkzen. Iozif was killed in the attack, however the young Zandu at the meager age of 5 survived by hiding in a hidden cellar underneath the toymaker's shop. It was here several days later a group of travelers came upon the young boy and one of these travelers was Koya, whom took the frighten child in.

Since then Zandu has grown up in Koya's care, but for many years he still wore deep scars from the events that had sent him into Koya's care, but at one point he seemed to get better though he claimed to speak to his "sister". There was never a record of any sister nor have Zandu ever spoken of her before he started to get better and most thought it merely an invisible friend, though his persistency in these were worrisome the fact he started to come out of his shell meant that most let it pass.

Zandu has always shown a talent for the arcane arts and Koya always said that magic was in his blood. With time Zandu have become proficient the arts and one day just a few months ago he introduced Koya and Sandru to his "Sister", whom appeared to be a silent angelic creature radiating the light of the divine by the name of Nanael. At first this gave fear that Zandu's mental health was deteriorating once more, but most assume this Nanael is merely a manifestation of Zandy's arcane powers and believes. The belief of Zandu have never steered to Desna, but always firmly stayed with Sarenrae Dawnflower and her nature is as Nanael's; Angelic.

Physical Description:
Standing 5' 10'' Zandu stands slightly above average height and is slim and a healthy complexity. This however spell the end of the normality of Zandu, for his hair has a metallic golden hue and his skin is pale with a tint of emerald coloring, but most eerily of all his eyes are unearthly with no iris or pupil but rather solid white almost glowing. In fact Zandu himself seems to be surrounding by an almost physical aura of calm and benevolence.

Personality:
A somewhat quiet young man, Zandu nevertheless has a quick smile for most people; he tries to be kind, friendly and helpful towards all and is in fact a bit of a hopeless romantic. As much of a people person as he tries to be sometimes Zandu feels a need to be by himself especially when he feels he has failed in some manner.
