The rules for Reposition say:

Quote:
You cannot use this maneuver to move a foe into a space that is intrinsically dangerous, such as a pit or wall of fire.

I'm having a hard time imagining the mechanic here, that would allow repositioning based on the danger level of the target square. It also seems inconsistent with other rules, such as those for grappling:

Quote:
If you attempt to place your foe in a hazardous location, such as in a wall of fire or over a pit, the target receives a free attempt to break your grapple with a +4 bonus.

What are some ways to imagine the differing mechanics between these two combat maneuvers? Thanks!

The description for Magic Item Creation in the CRB says

Quote:
At the end of this [item creation] process, the spellcaster must make a single skill check (usually Spellcraft, but sometimes another skill) to finish the item.

My question is, where are the calls for skill checks other than Spellcraft? Are they found in the specific item description, the item type description, or somewhere else? Can anyone provide an example of such an item or item type from the CRB?

Thanks!
