Well, that's sort of the problem ...

I'm going have to bow out. Thank you for a great time, guys.

Thoroughly confused, Yselle waits to see if Trina would wake up from the slap.

Dotting ...

"Careful," whispers Yselle. "If she's still here, that could mean someone else just came in that window."

Perception, to look for anyone hiding 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (13) + 7 = 20

By the way, I'll be running my own game soon. It will be PFRPG, based on a Pathfinder Society module. Everyone here invited!

The thief slips her picks into the lock and begins to twist and nudge them into place ...

DM, I don't quite understand what the warning is about.

Feeling especially confident in her new leathers and armed with best non-magical weapons money can buy, Yselle walks through the streets with a swagger. At the doorway of Trina Sabor she keeps an eye out for danger with her crossbow at the ready.

Yselle smirks at the mention of Hellknights.

"Hellknights are a useless bunch, aren't they? All they do is mess things up even more than it already is! We'll get Trinia back alive, don't you worry madam field-marshal."

I wouldn't want to roleplay the distribution. This has been a wonderful gem of a game and I don't want it to get bogged down at this point.

The gold, gems and jewelry totals to 2810 gp. Split five ways, that's 562 gp.

I don't know how much we'll get for the swords, crossbows, chainmail and shields.

In regards to what Yselle wants:

She'll have enough money to buy a masterwork studded leather armor (175 gp) and a masterwork rapier (320 gp).

I'd like to have the masterwork crosswbow, but I will defer to any warrior type who wants it.

I'd like to have the potion of invisibility, at the very least.

I agree with Thelix that we should keep the magical and exotic items separate from the currency and jewelry. Great thanks to Sarastal for doing the math, though. Here's how I would categorize it:

Treat these as cash or as good as cash:

1000 gp the bribe money
60 gp from goons
6 long swords
6 light crossbows
6 chainmail armour
6 heavy shileds
jasper amulet-500 gp
gold necklace-600 gp
mother of pearl horn- 50 gp
6 sacks of gold-each contains 100 gp

Treat these as items to be split:

2 mwk bladed gauntlets
mwk hand crossbow
Potion of Cure Mod
Potion of Invisibility
+1 leather armour
6 doses of shiver
1 dose of dream spider venom
Ring of Feather Fall
Scroll of Blur
Elixir of Love
2 Pouches of Dust of Appearance

I'd like the potion of invisibility for myself. It will help with being a rogue.

I'll just take my split of the money, then spend it on stuff:

A masterwork studded leather armor (175 gp)
A masterwork buckler (165 gp)
A masterwork rapier (320 gp)
A masterwork light crossbow (335 gp)

If I manage to buy all these before the next adventure, I would spend a total of 995 gp.

I just finished leveling Yselle to 3. Looks like I forgot to upgrade to Pathfinder, so I had to completely re-do her skills.

Yselle sees Kroft blush and wishes that she herself had taken a peek at the letter. There wasn't all that much that Yselle hadn't already heard, seen, or done herself, even at her young age. But it would be interesting to know what these upper-crust types find embarrassing.

"There, there Baern, blackmail is such a strong word. Marshal Croft is just wants to remind the ambassador what the best interests of his people are. And trust me, keeping us alive is a very good deed, in my book," she says with a wink.

Yselle laughs mockingly at Thelix as she gathers the loot into her sack. "Why would I want to get into any more danger than I have to? I want to retire young, rich and in one piece!"

Yselle laughs joyously at the treasure piled up around their feet.

"I never dreamed ... ! This is why I chose to be an adventurer!"

"Oh, at your service, my master," says Yselle with as much sarcasm as she could pack into those six words.

Yselle takes out her crowbar and jams it into the space between the spider-door and the floor. She then retrieves the two daggers she threw at the spiders.

"That should keep them in for good."

Yselle rolls her eyes and shakes her dreadlocked head.

"Well I'm not going in there to face more spiders," she replies argumentatively.

"We've done enough. Let's go and call the watch."

"I say we sink it," says the rogue bitterly. "Set a fire or take an axe to the hull, I don't care how."

"Ewww, Inros! It's dead already!" scolds Yselle, apparently unconcerned about the warrior's deteriorating condition. She then shuts the door.

"There's more critters coming out. Let's get out of here before we end up spider-food!'

Yselle reloads her crossbow and peeks into the room where the spiders came from ...

"How could I miss such a big target?" Yselle scolds herself. She then fires at the great spider again.

Oops, thanks!

Yselle pulls out her crossbow and aims. Not wanting to hit anyone by accident, she shoots at the menacing newcomer.

Yselle pulls out her other dagger, the silver one from Vancaskerkin's loot, and throws at the spider again.

Attack 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (10) + 3 = 13
Damage 1d4 ⇒ 3

Seeing the monstrosity before her, Yselle lets her sword clatter onto the floor. She takes out a dagger and throws it at the spider-horror with grunt of disgust.

Yselle cannot stop shaking from fright. Eventually she summons enough courage to at least draw her sword.

With a yelping scream Yselle falls on her slim buttocks and frantically crawls away.

With no one's prompting, Yselle investigates the two doors.

Yselle shrugs, disappointed at having found nothing of great value. She puts away her crow bar and goes to examine the next door.

"Ah, good. Now what's theirs is ours."

The thief rummages through her pack and produces a crowbar, which she uses to crack open the crates.

Yselle examines the double doors for traps and other suspicious signs.

Perception 1d20+4=16

"Ugh! That's disgusting, Sarastal. Those papers are filthy!"

"Ewww! Shut the door quick!"

"Okay. Make way. Professional at work."

I check door 2 for traps. Using Perception, now that Search is no longer in PFRPG.

"Hmmm, I wonder how much these are worth," says Yselle, eying the vials of liquid.

Appraise 1d20+3=5

"Yeah, I think we should report this," says Yselle. She eyes the vials with more than just curiosity. "We don't want all this stuff falling in the wrong hands."

As quickly as she can, Yselle lights up one of her torches.

Should I light a torch?

Yselle puts her hands on her hips and frowns.

"Um, can we save the pleasantries for later? We've got a door to kick down."

"Mjenko, you can watch over my while I tie up these big louts," says Yselle. She begins binding the guardsmen none too gently.

Yselle sets her weapon down, rolls out the soft leather case that holds the implements of her trade, and gets to work freeing the little dragon.

"Hmmm. You won't bite me if I get you out, would you?" she says with a smile.
