Background:

Yalarina Blackwood grew up in the shadowy alleys of Eldrig Hollow, a bustling trade city near the Hold of Belkzan, notorious for its opulent markets and darker dealings. Born to a reformed orc father and a human mother, Yalarina was often seen as an outsider, her mixed heritage earning her both disdain and curiosity from the townsfolk. Her early years were defined by struggle; with her mother's untimely death at the hands of ruthless bandits and her fathers attempt to extract revenge upon them, she learned quickly that survival hinged on wit rather than strength alone. As she navigated this treacherous world, it became clear that Yalarina possessed not just physical adeptness but also an innate connection to magic. As she matured, resentment towards those who deemed her inferior fueled Yalarina's determination to prove them wrong. She immersed herself in the arcane arts while honing her skills as a rogue under the guidance of Rurik Flamehand, a retired thief turned mentor. He taught her how to weave spells into mischief. Soon after she joined the Pathfinders.
