Actually... It would appear that every situation it says "shadowdancer's" level, it means character level.

And everywhere it just says "shadowdancer" it means SD class levels.

If you check, that rule eliminates the crazy results and leave tolerable results.

I get that the level can't be healed while holding the weapon, but can't a character use UMD to con the item? Then the neg. level is never bestowed in the first place.

Feet claws! FEET CLAWS!

You take one set of claws on your hands and the other on your feet. You now have 4 natural attacks but will have to get custom tailored boots.

By RAW this is possible. Mechanically it will be superior to normal weapon attacks until mid-high levels, around that point the magical bonuses, extra off-hand attacks and so on of alternate classes begin to catch up/surpass.

But the build will be viable and deadly for the rest of your career. (assuming appropriate attributes and feats to support the style.)

If you have a Fly spell active, but have "landed", then you are still flying.

If someone is tripped; the natural reflex is to reach out and catch the ground. In this case, the same reflex would mean your feet does indeed get swooped off the ground, but because of the Fly spell, you cannot actually fall over unless you want to.

Your feet will swing up off the ground, then drop back down under you as you hover in mid-air.

Now, if you had Wings, then it would be an immediate Fly Skill check for hovering. If failed, down you go to prone.

Leaving a threatened square provokes normally, but really has nothing to do with being tripped or flying.
