Let's do it, motteditor!
The medium should be an easy hurdle. If you can post - you can do it. we can sort out the wrinkles in an OOC thread as we go!

Hi kospauste. I am new to the boards here myself and reside near Parkdale...an easy cycle to Riverdale-Danforth for me. I originally only thought to play PbP games. Scheduling can be a challenge. A couple times a month is certainly doable...and I know someone else who might be interested. I am an old hand in a sense that I used to play a long time ago...but havent for many years. Ì would be interested in GMing a game eventually...but not right away.

The way you have decribed how you like to play is more or less what i am accustomed to....I also like descriptive settings. I personaly think that elaborate visual aids (fancy game boards, huge collections of miniatures etc.) can be distracting should not be required for the game...details are best filled in using imagination and description.

I have lately been eying some of the Gamemastery adventures set in the Darkmoon Vale as a possible resource for the starting of a campaign.

Any ideas?

Hi everyone.

I threw my name in the ring with Martinaj's initial thread. I am not sure if I am still in on this Bleak House adventure. I was hoping to contribute with a farmer (since we start at level 8 he will be a retired soldier) who is fed up with all of the freakin' crap takin' over the land. So he takes up his scythe é or pole arm to set things a'right.

Not sure yet how he ends up on a ship. I`ll figure that out.

Am I still in?
I posted some of the starting ideas for the build on this profile.

Throwing a little slinger into the mix.

Ollo Leatherbreeches - Halfling Outrider (Warslinging Ranger)

Stableboy, farm hand, shepherd, labourer, cowboy. Olly developed a reputation among the local Rostlander villages for being a resourceful little man - although some know him more for his ill manners and mischievous ways. Most of the time locals don't trust him simply because he is an outsider - a transient - an orphan - a hobo. But he wouldnt have it any other way, Ollie is a traveller at heart - always on the move - always curious to see what`s to find around the bend. Seeking to distance himself from some recent scandalous dalliances with a local farmer's daughter - Ollie finds himself malingering about in Restov, when he hears that adventurers are in demand for a local charter.

I love a dark setting. My suggestion: A local yokel. The brawny farmer's boy from down the road. A no-nonsense tough guy who is more clever than he lets on. With a big scythe.
