About Wuglat
Wuglat received his name in the same manner as must Matanji boys in the Second Wall Katanju; named by his cohort when he was old enough to play with them away from the adults (age 5).
Wuglat prides himself on honesty, so does not hide that this Orcish word means sickly.
But Majagua, Mother Jaguar, also known as Kazutal among those outside the Matanji, blessed him with force of will to train and become stronger; never as strong as his brethren, but strong. His neighbors lay odds against his ever being strong enough to serve as a warrior, or revered enough to serve as in the central city of Matakali, but he was able to become a guard.
As an adolescent, Wuglat found that with focus and force of will he could move things with his mind, and heal injuries. It is not an honorable or trained magical tradition, so does not afford him an easy path to being revered in Matakali, but he expects to leverage the ability to be better in battle.
As Wuglat grew older, and found he still could not rise above the station of guard. He took on a pilgrimage to travel to the Avistan, where he could develop and unlock the potential of his mental discipline. Wuglat traveled far to Bloodcove, and bartered passage on a ship; but all he had to offer was his service. So he signed a contract with the Pathfinder Society to contract to them and become one of their members, in return for passage.
