Male Tiefling Zen Archer Monk

The belt and amulet were destroyed by the 1000 arrows that pierced wraith's body.

Male Tiefling Zen Archer Monk

I didn't want another character until after I got one shotted. But that's kinda what happens when you get one shotted due to someone charging 35 guys. I liked Wraith.

Male Tiefling Zen Archer Monk

We move ourselves on the map :)

Male Tiefling Zen Archer Monk

"After 100 arrows you still think him flesh and blood? It's quite obvious your leaders are mere mortals." Wraith fires off 3 arrows, one into each burned archer.

Flurry of bows 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (17) + 13 = 301d8 + 15 ⇒ (6) + 15 = 21
2nd strike Perfect Strike (5th one of the day)1d20 + 13 ⇒ (3) + 13 = 161d20 + 13 ⇒ (18) + 13 = 311d8 + 15 ⇒ (4) + 15 = 19
3rd strike 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (15) + 8 = 231d8 + 15 ⇒ (6) + 15 = 21

Male Tiefling Zen Archer Monk

Well that just plain sucks. Even when the flask is on his belt and is considered a thrown weapon?

Male Tiefling Zen Archer Monk

Why not toss it this turn? Can't you draw the flask as part of your move action then chuck it as a standard?

Male Tiefling Zen Archer Monk

Wraith tracks another bandit leader and fires off three more arrows at the bandit standing over Helena with the battleaxe.

Flurry of bows 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (11) + 13 = 241d8 + 15 ⇒ (3) + 15 = 18 Perfect Strike 2nd strike 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (4) + 13 = 171d20 + 13 ⇒ (17) + 13 = 301d8 + 15 ⇒ (2) + 15 = 17 Third strike 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (19) + 8 = 271d8 + 15 ⇒ (5) + 15 = 20

Male Tiefling Zen Archer Monk

Think of all the LOOT.

Male Tiefling Zen Archer Monk

YOU CAN TOTALLY USE A LONG BOW WHILE MOUNTED IF IT'S COMPOSITE:
http://www.d20pfsrd.com/equipment---final/weapons/weapon-descriptions/longb ow-composite

Wraith curses the gods for giving him the reckless son of the lord to guard. Arrows notched, he fires them quickly into the fray.

Flurry of bows w/point blank w/perfect strike 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (15) + 13 = 281d20 + 13 ⇒ (10) + 13 = 231d8 + 15 ⇒ (3) + 15 = 18 Second shot 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (10) + 13 = 231d20 + 13 ⇒ (20) + 13 = 331d8 + 15 ⇒ (7) + 15 = 22 Third shot 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (18) + 8 = 261d20 + 8 ⇒ (13) + 8 = 211d8 + 15 ⇒ (5) + 15 = 20

Do horses get their own move, or if it moves I can't do a full round action? Just curious.

Male Tiefling Zen Archer Monk

Ryan, you're getting a little too ansy. Look at the very first line. Jathus isn't moving till after he gets healed.

Male Tiefling Zen Archer Monk

So do we run or stay and fight? If need be we can just wheel around on the mounts and book it.

Male Tiefling Zen Archer Monk

See Discussion

Male Tiefling Zen Archer Monk

Could always run. They're in front of us and not surrounding us.

Male Tiefling Zen Archer Monk

After strapping on the belt and slipping the amulet on, Wraith gathers the arrows that whistled off and then settles down next to the bonfire with his bow out and arrow notched and starts to mentally read through a few lines of his favorite tome, a habit he had formed in order to keep him company through the long nights.

Perception for finding arrows with darkvision 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (3) + 16 = 19

Male Tiefling Zen Archer Monk

Wraith leans down and picks up the amulet. I'd love the belt too, but I'll fight Anga for it.

Male Tiefling Zen Archer Monk

I just assumed he was still invisible since when he fell before, he was still invisible so I figured only Thaegrin was able to see him.

Male Tiefling Zen Archer Monk

Perception 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (6) + 16 = 22

"Does he have anything useful to the lot of us?" Wraith muttered to Thaegrin as he kept an arrow drawn watching the ground for signs of movement for any other invisible attackers.

You say encounter passed, but WRAITH WANTS TO MAKE SURE.

Male Tiefling Zen Archer Monk

Wraith kneels near the fire and sights where he thinks he saw the assassin run off to and lets loose arrows.

Crunch:
Stealth 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (4) + 10 = 14 I realize it's hard to hide near a fire, but still trying.
Perception 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (19) + 16 = 35
Perfect Strike 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (16) + 12 = 281d20 + 12 ⇒ (10) + 12 = 221d8 + 13 ⇒ (2) + 13 = 151d100 ⇒ 30
Perfect Strike 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (10) + 12 = 221d20 + 12 ⇒ (15) + 12 = 271d8 + 13 ⇒ (4) + 13 = 171d100 ⇒ 47
1d20 + 7 ⇒ (15) + 7 = 221d8 + 13 ⇒ (6) + 13 = 191d100 ⇒ 64

Male Tiefling Zen Archer Monk

I'm stabbing you when you get home if a 98 percent misses. Total Concealment's only 50%. Perception 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (13) + 16 = 29 For you too since it's a DC 20 to pinpoint invisible creature's location. Whistle off into the darkness my ASS. He's a PINCUSHION.

Male Tiefling Zen Archer Monk

Wraith tracks where the wizened wizard was pointing too and and fires off three arrows.

Flurry With Point Blank 1d100 ⇒ 98 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (13) + 13 = 261d8 + 15 ⇒ (7) + 15 = 22 1d100 ⇒ 56 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (8) + 13 = 211d8 + 15 ⇒ (5) + 15 = 20 1d100 ⇒ 1 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (5) + 8 = 131d8 + 15 ⇒ (6) + 15 = 21 I rolled percentages for concealment

Male Tiefling Zen Archer Monk

Ryan, why would you only shoot once with Wraith instead of flurry...?

Male Tiefling Zen Archer Monk

Perception with darkvision 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (8) + 16 = 24 Wraith stands with bow drawn, and arrow notched, waiting... listening.

Male Tiefling Zen Archer Monk

"Jathus, you need an area of light with no shadows. Let us make a bonfire, and then space torches 10 ft out at every 5 ft. There will be no shadows cast in the interior of the circle. If you are to be in the middle, no shadow creature can approach without our notice."

So I just chatted with Ryan about this idea and he told me that's exactly what he just posted to you Isaac. LOL.

Male Tiefling Zen Archer Monk

"Hmmm..."

Jathus:
It seems the men are measuring the distances between shadows... It is clear that something is meant to move from shadow to shadow, perhaps a shadow dancer or fiend?

Male Tiefling Zen Archer Monk

Checking his quiver and his bow, Wraith runs his gaze over the hired men. Perception 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (2) + 16 = 18 Sense Motive 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (17) + 12 = 29

Male Tiefling Zen Archer Monk

So, because hi liege lord can't read questions or answer them when he's asked, Wraith is just gonna do whatever the hell he wants to do.

Wraith, used to Jathus being inattentive, slips into the darkness and scales a tree in the camp to keep watch during the night with his longbow out. He sits and thinks about the hunt in the morning, excited for a chance to bring down some delicious heels.

Male Tiefling Zen Archer Monk

"Jathus, I can stand watch over the night watch just to see if anything should transpire tonight." Wraith said as he looked over the food stuffs.

Male Tiefling Zen Archer Monk

Perception to see if any fidgets when Jathus asks for a stowaway1d20 + 16 ⇒ (1) + 16 = 17

Male Tiefling Zen Archer Monk

100 ft sounds good. What's the range on longbows? 120ft?

Male Tiefling Zen Archer Monk

No kidding. How far ahead are you sending me to my doom, oh venerable war tactician?

Male Tiefling Zen Archer Monk

Wraith thought about this and frowned. "Are you certain of this? Although my eyes are perfect for the job, I am not as much a master of stealth as our local rogue. Your father would be displeased with me if something happened to you and I was leagues away."

Male Tiefling Zen Archer Monk

Wraith, understanding Jathus was about to secure his protection, guards the door against any preying eyes and ears. He stands with a hand loosely on his bow and out of habit scans the room.

Perception 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (10) + 16 = 26

Male Tiefling Zen Archer Monk

"So say we all. Let's not let us disappear into legend and folk lore just quite yet. What foul deed can spirit away 31 men without a trace?" Wraith mused.

Male Tiefling Zen Archer Monk

Wraith bows his head in thanks for the door and walks through. "Dawn it shall be my liege. Which of the three tasks will we pursue first?"

Male Tiefling Zen Archer Monk

Wraith listens to the orders and mentally prepares a list of things he would need to pack for the task ahead. He shook his head to himself. I do hope Jathus will stay out of trouble this time. I must continue to keep him safe. Just another day of work. He waits for Jathus to finish his conversation and then moves to follow him out of the hall.

Male Tiefling Zen Archer Monk

Don't mind not shooting on ground. Monkey style was for getting up from the ground without causing attacks of opportunity. He'd basically kip up and shoot. Good to go.

Male Tiefling Zen Archer Monk

Is there any of the major or minor houses that are blatantly against House Rudianos?

Male Tiefling Zen Archer Monk

How hated are the people from the Acherd Islands? Will I need to go around masked or am I generally accepted since I'm a guard for House Rudianos?

Male Tiefling Zen Archer Monk

I DON'T SLEEP SUCKA.

Male Tiefling Zen Archer Monk

I could technically work as a bodyguard? Areo Hotah style? Just with a bow? I'm not worried about being sneaky sneak.

Male Tiefling Zen Archer Monk

An even better scenario to be a Faceless man! Excellllent. With a bow.

Male Tiefling Zen Archer Monk

1d8 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6
1d8 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7
1d8 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7
1d8 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7
1d8 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7

For health

Male Tiefling Zen Archer Monk

NVM, Josh pointed out it allows me to Flurry.

Male Tiefling Zen Archer Monk

What's the importance of Quick Draw with a bow? Can someone explain that to me? Since you can draw while moving? What's the pros and cons?

Male Tiefling Zen Archer Monk

I vote urban then. I haven't ever gotten to play a higher level character.

Male Tiefling Zen Archer Monk

Is the second one homebrew also? Just leveled up to 7 homebrew?

Male Tiefling Zen Archer Monk

Either is fine!

Male Tiefling Zen Archer Monk

Wraith laughed. "Indeed, fear the soaking human and the tiefling with mud on his face, and the thief who sleeps through everything. Wish we had our wizard," he said as the trudged back to the camp.

Male Tiefling Zen Archer Monk

Spluttering mud out of his mouth, Wraith picks himself up and dusts himself off watching the beast vanish into the distance. Backtracking, he Wraith finds Eddric. "Looks like it out ran us. A man should return to camp and check on the sleepy thief."

Male Tiefling Zen Archer Monk

.... I may have missed the CMB roll. 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (18) + 5 = 23
