About Wraif Broadwell

Wraif wanted to join the Qadira faction at a time when they were inundated with native apprentice evokers and weren't accepting any more into their ranks. He choose to present himself instead as a Garundi weaponsmith working in Absalom in order to impress the faction with his crafting skills. The faction was pleased with his work and sponsored his warrior training back in Qadira. In Katheer, Wraif fell in love with a local Kelish woman and even entered negotiations with her father for the dowry. The father, thinking Wraif was a foreign Garundi man, secretly didn't want to approve the marriage; however, he did agree to it under the condition that Wraif would serve the Qadira faction for two years before he could marry his daughter. Wraif happily agreed to serve the faction and when he discovered that his first assignment was to join the Pathfinder Society he knew that the father had set him up. The father-in-law-to-be had sent him to the front lines of one the most dangerous organizations in the inner sea. True to his word, Wraif set sail for Absalom intending to do his duty to Qadira and return in two years time to claim his Bride.

After a few missions for the Pathfinder Society, Wraif realized that his fighting skill was not holding up to the story he presented. He decided to drop his disguise and start getting the job done with fire and spell instead. The faction didn't seem to mind the ruse as long as he continued to complete their secret tasks. As his true self, a Kelish Evoker, Wraif has completed many missions for the Pathfinders and has developed a kinship with a number of their agents. A particular Kelish Priestess of Sarenrae has had more of an impact on him than the others. When the two years of service was up, Wraif decided not to return to Katheer and instead hangs around Absalom accepting important missions from the Society, especially any that the Cleric of Sarenrae has agreed to undertake.
