		About Wix Nagla
A group of sentient fish sailed through the dark of the vast. Sadly, it was the wrong space at the wrong time and happened upon a Azlanti ship on patrol. The Azlanti, as is tradition, opened fire on the ship when it didn’t immediately power down upon request. Hurtling down to a nearby planet, the occupants of the crew quickly made their way to the nearest body of water. The next few weeks was very rough for them as they were standard working class beings on vacation and not trained or experienced in combat and were quickly killed off by the local predators.
Wix was born in this time to a separated group of survivors that had found a vacant underwater cave they were able to hide in. Wix was pushed into a dark corner with his other spawnlings and spent much of his early childhood in this dark corner. Food was sparse and he quickly killed off the others to be the one to eat the most, realizing how strong his telekinetic were.
One day, food was never funneled through the crack and he noticed that his space and grown quite small. Upon leaving his hiding spot to find several of his pod dead and, leaving the cave toward open waters, found the last in battle with a large eel. Wix quickly dispatched the beast without a flap of his fins to the surprise of his kin. Month’s of malnourishment in an alien environment had taken their toll on the last 2 original survivors and they perished shortly after and left Wix alone...again.
During the next few years, Wix learned to hone his ability and strength. Quickly climbing to the top of the food chain in his little lake. I was content to kill and control whoever crossed his path. Sometimes making whole schools dance for his amusement.
The Azlanti sent several waves of troops to the planet to find “The Nagla” fish. And everyone was turned into a puppet and made to kill the others, becoming Wix’s defenses. They sent their robots, which were decimated by the remaining ordinance acquired by previous waves or by the other, larger, local wildlife. Wix trained himself absorbing moisture from anywhere that contains it, even from other creatures, and using it to fight these other creatures using the fighting styles of those that came for him.
The Azlanti eventually quit coming and life became quite for sometime and Wix settled into contemplation. Seeking further connection with the divine entity that gave him his power, Zon-Kuthon. Once, Zon-Kuthon came to him in a dream and showed him a vision of him gaining ultimate control of the galaxy, having everyone worshiping him and him, never having to feel alone again.
The next day, a group of settlers touched down and quickly began colonizing. They were not Azlanti and seemed worth studying. Though, as expected, the Azlanti did come and occupied the settlement. Wix was content to watch the green suited troopers exert what they think is their superior will power over the colonists.
He had almost come to the decision to do something about it when a group of beings called ‘Starfinders’ arrived and, over the course of several days, routed out the Azlanti and returned control of the planet to the colonists.
Wix was curious about the adventurers, and emerged from his watery home to approach one of the colonists. An elderly woman who owned a machine yard toward the outside of town. Being the first creature who wasn’t trying to kill him and of higher intelligence, he decided to try to speak to her. He found rather intelligent conversation and was quickly brought to speed on the universe around him and the group that passed through.
It was strange for him to have someone wanted to be around him and do things for him as the old lady offered to build him a suite he could travel in with leftover aeon guard armor, providing him a shuttle and pointing him in the direction where the starfinders came from.
Wix threw himself to the stars, making his way as a space hitchhiker, either making deals or controlling who he needed to make his way to Absalom Station in the Pact Worlds where he found himself signed up a Starfinder to gain a bit more scope of the Vast and its history.
