As some left to chase down the last of the running bandits, some cared for the wounded, and some started searching fallen foes for prizes William quietly walked through the fortress with a slight limp. The goat made his way to the stairs leading up and walked to the over head balcony. Once there the goat simply stared off into the darkness.

William’s interior Monologue:

Finally the fight is over. I have chased the final foe into the darkness and some of those who follow me seek him out. I have defeated my enemies , felling them with my own horns, and withstanding whatever they chose to throw at me. I have taken control of and cleaned out this den of villainy. This shall be the seat of my power where I shall rule from. From this place I will survey all my dominion. I have won the battle and am entitled to the victor’s prize.

William could feel through his empathic bond with Alfentinius that the time had come. He grabbed one last bite of clover and lazily walked over to Chet giving the tiger a gentle butt to get him moving.

With that the goat started moving towards the fortress. As he emerged from the forest line he could barely make out the sound of the whistle. Silly two legs thinking you could hide a whistle under a sheet and still hear it from this far away. No worries though... William was on his way. Oh and Chett too.

. I am amused by the thought process of a guard seeing a goat off in the distance and thinking "oh good dinner" and then seeing the tiger chasing it.

William looked up at the stars and took a deep smell of the nights air. He looked over at the tiger which seemed ready to pounce at any moment. The goat listened to the rumble of the wagon come to a stop. There was some indistinct yelling that the goat couldn't make out. William suddenly realized he was hungry. He looked around and saw some wild flowers a few feet away. He wandered over and started eating the clover waiting for his signal. Waiting was always the boring part.

William stretches in a manner more reminiscent of Chett than a goat and jumps down after Alfentinius. Seeing the gnome begin to work William sets to helping as well. Mainly by eating small weeds and miraculously none of the radishes themselves.

This game seems to consist mainly of pestering and Bothering Chett in a playful fashion without getting the Tiger mad enough to actually eat him....

Svetlana walked out to the clothesline to bring in the laundry. She started to pull the clothes and fold them when she came to her old flower print dress. She did a double take when she realized that the bottom hem definitely looked like it had been chewed on. She pulled the dress off the line and held it up realizing there was a hole all the way through the middle of the dress.

Svetlana walked out of the Main hall and looked at the Picnic table in front of her... she was confused for a second and called out to Oleg. Hey did you see that Red Berry Cobbler I had sitting out here on the table. I just pulled it off the fire twenty minutes ago and left it here to cool.

Oleg stuck his head out of the store room where he had been going through some Pelts that he had been prepping to ship north to Brevoy. Nope can't say that I have. Oleg looked around thoughtfully... But I have an idea.

Oleg walked into the stable and found one of the dogs left behind by the adventurers that had headed south sleeping soundly. Next to it was the empty tin that the cobbler had once been in. Blast you dog stealing our cobbler. The dog woke with a start looking very surprise. It jumped up obviously wanting to be petted. What you think I'm going to pet you now... you mangy thief. The dog looked at him perplexed.

Oleg cast his gaze around the stable feeling very frustrated not knowing how to react. Then he saw that strange goat that always seemed to act just a little off for an animal. Wait was his muzzle stained... like he had been eating red berries. Oleg looked down at the dog that still seemed very confused. Boy... I think you done been scapegoated... by a goat.

William turned his head sideways almost as if he understood hat Oleg had said and just baahhd at Oleg.

Oleg came out of the office to continue with some of the odd chores that still needed done around the trading post, when he noticed that the door to the barn was wide open. He was sure he had closed it. He walked into the barn and noticed that the stall that the goats and sheep had been kept in was empty as well. Then he looked up and realized that the main gates were open... and the animals were no where to be seen. A moment of panic ran through his stomach as he realized he had lost the animals that belonged to the adventurers sent to scout the Green Belt...
