I will note that the spell calls for a "vial" of holy water, whereas a "flask" of holy water is worth 25gp. A flask is considered to hold a pint of liquid, and most potions and oils are kept in vials that hold an ounce of liquid.
Since there are 16 fluid ounces in a pint, it's safe to say that a "flask" of holy water, whether purchased or created using bless water, could be made into 16 vials of holy water that can be used to cast Consecrate up to 16 times (considering you still had the extra 5 lbs of silver everytime you wanted to cast it).
Still expensive, especially in my campaign where our party is stranded on an evil island without access to a regular supply of silver or means to purchase it, but still better than 50gp every time you cast it. It's more like 26.5 gp.
