Stargazer - You gain a +2 trait bonus on Knowledge checks to identify alien monsters’ abilities and weaknesses. In addition, you gain a +1 trait bonus on Knowledge (geography) checks, and this skill is a class skill for you. You are treated as if you possessed the Technologist feat for the purposes of resolving checks to identify an alien creature using a Knowledge skill and for all Knowledge (geography) checks. If you already possess the Technologist feat, then your trait bonus on Knowledge (geography) checks increases to +3.

Background: Vrlock was a strange hatchling. The first thing that his tribe noticed was his odd skales, they almost looked to be the color of mud. Other hatchlings refused to play with him, claiming he smelt like dirt and dust, more so than a normal kobold. That and the fact that he did not have the predator instinct that the other young ones had singled him out as being the weakest of the clutch.

As an adult he could never find acceptance in the tribe, so finally he decided to make a go of it on his own. The moment he stepped out of the caves he knew he had made the right choice. All of the bright stars above enthralled him and made him wish that he could climb up and collect them like so much treasure.

It was during his travels that Vrlock realized his special powers. Somehow he had been blessed with the power to move earth with his mind. He could summon it to protect him, or hurl it into enemies with great effect. Vrlock has not yet explored the fullness of these abilities, but he is curious to learn what they mean for him. Perhaps one day he can find a group of similar individuals that can help him understand where his abilities come from, and what they mean.
