She fumbles in the dark to get her Everburning torch from her backpack, hoping it can overcome the darkness effect.
From Darkness: Magical light sources only increase the light level in an area if they are of a higher spell level than darkness.
So, maybe?

Voyla puts a hand on Tania's shoulder.
"The woman has offered some food, and we would be rude not to accept it. Grandmother, do you wish ill to us? Do you want to mislead or harm us?"
She uses her Discern Lies ability on the old woman's response. She also detects her alignment.
Discern Lies: You know if the target deliberately and knowingly speaks a lie by discerning disturbances in its aura caused by lying. The spell does not reveal the truth, uncover unintentional inaccuracies, or necessarily reveal evasions. Will DC 20 negates.

Voyla moves head head signaling for the others to get into the hut.
