About Vitellia OrlovskyVitellia Orlovsky
Appearance:
Vitellia is fairly tall, with an athletic build. She is light-skinned, but usually somewhat tanned due to her proclivity for the outdoors. Her dark hair ends at just past her shoulders. She's left her courtly clothes at home, never having cared much for them in the first place, and wears practical traveler's gear. When planning against or expecting trouble, she wears a sturdy shirt of chain mail over her clothes and sports a spiked steel gauntlet on her right hand. A folded net is secured over her shoulder, and a weapon thong on her back typically holds a pole-arm of some kind. Personality:
On the surface Vitellia is somewhat taciturn, though not unfriendly or abrasive. She is matter-of-fact, direct, and polite while communicating. Around people and environments with which she has become accustomed and comfortable with, she tends to loosen up and display an earnest sense of humor. Her friendship and loyalty are not loud or flashy, but run deep. She has an overwhelming love of most animals, and usually gets along well with those who share this trait. She is a thoroughly lapsed worshiper of Abadar. She believes his faith is useful for an organized, well-run society but finds it inflexible in ways that occasionally run counter to her own ethical compass. She has mixed feelings about being selected for the expedition into the Stolen Lands: on one hand, she severely dislikes being used as political capital. On the other, she relishes the opportunity to venture far away from the political machinations of Brevoy, and Issia in particular. Hopefully, it will be a long while before Brevoy's troubles and her family's expectations are able to catch up with her. Background:
Vitellia was born the seventh and final child to a (very) minor Baron of House Orlovsky, who's meager holdings primarily comprised of House Orlovsky's preferred hunting grounds. As she was of meager political use to her family, with three other daughters to marry off before her, she was afforded the freedom to pursue whatever interested her. She spent much of her childhood and adolescence with her two best friends: her youngest brother, Gerard, and the Grounds Mistress who tended the hunting ranges on their land. Her brother was training for knighthood and once it became apparent that no force on Golarion would keep her from accompanying Gerard on his combat and and riding lessons, the instructor grudgingly agreed to include Vitellia. She took to it well, sharing her brother's strong build, natural athleticism, and sense of discipline. She developed a fondness for pole-arms, as they allowed her to leverage her significant physical strength. Her time exploring her family's land with the Grounds Mistress was precious to her, as it was what primarily took her away from the concerns of her family. Orlovsky's had a reputation for being "above" the incessant political maneuvering in Brevoy, but maintaining that neutrality ultimately required just as much politicking as being directly involved. The Grounds Mistress observed, on more than one occasion, that these qualities made her the "perfect Orlovsky, through and through": Vitellia's frustration with the nature of noble life in Brevoy was a direct result of her innate savvy for it. The Grounds Mistress maintained a pack of hunting dogs, both to help her patrol the land and to assist visiting sporting parties. Vitellia became nearly as close to the dogs as the Grounds Mistress, and when Vitellia turned 17 she was given her choice of a puppy from a recent litter to raise as her own. Her years spent with the animals guided her to the brightest of the bunch. She named him Kirby, and they have been inseparable ever since. When the charter for exploration and annexation of the Stolen Lands came about, the heads of House Orlovsky concluded they must have a representative in the expedition in order to maintain their hand in Brevoy's tenuous political balance. And it just so happened one of their Baron's had an expendable daughter... Stats:

Potential Kingdom Roles:
Vitellia would excel as either a Warden or General, with Warden being the best fit roleplay-wise. As her Charisma increases on leveling up, she could also function effectively as Diplomat or Councilor. Theoretically she could perform as Ruler as well, though some serious arm-twisting would have to come from the rest of the party to convince her to do it. Kirby:
