Celestial Half-Porc here. I am submitting Velios. He will be modified and background tweaked soon. He is a re-use from a now dead PbP. Thinking two-handed fighter variant. Take Ancestral Arms racial trait for Elven Curved Blade.
Recovering from his ankle injury, Velios brings his guisarme up to strike the wooden creature.

As the stairs under Manduzi's feet give way, Velios sees the statue come to life looking at the rogue. Having to act quickly, Velios jumps from the upper section of the room moving toward the animated creature. "We mean no harm. We are here to collect the Everflame." as he finishes his sentence, Velios rummages through his pack holding forth the lantern.
Might as well try, maybe I'll hit the jackpot.

Velios follows Naria down the stairs keeping his eyes open for signs of danger. "I would guess the crypt may be beyond this room." He says with a concerned look on his face.

I don't believe we actually got the key out of the fire. I would like to do the if we can. Then on to whatever door, anything works for me.
Velios looks relieved as the Shadow disperses. "By the gods, thank you Drosk. If it wasn't for your faith, we would be in far worse condition."
Velios keeps his guard up, hoping Drosk can destroy the shadow before anyone gets seriously hurt.

Velios rears up from contemplating the keys retrieval upon Naria's warning. He then falls back on his heals in an attack stance keeping his eyes fixed on the fire. "What is it?" Velios yells, hoping someone can explain what he should be seeing.

Velios enters the room trying to breath as small amount as possible. Approaching the fire, Velios notices an unscathed dagger resting near the fire. Velios uses his guisarme to scoot it farther away from the flames then leaning down to test how hot it is. "Here is a dagger and I can see a key in the fire that appears still in working condition. Anyone have an idea of how we can get it out?" He inquires leaning his head back so his companions can hear.
Not sure how long this stuff takes, but here are a few fort saves just in case.

Velios follows his companions into the next room, guisarme ready for the next fight.
"This is turning into a blood bath it seems." Velios mutters as he draws near the corpse Beilin is examining.
As the guisarme flies by the beetle, Velios brings it back around in one swift motion hoping to catch the beetle off guard while Beilin moves into flanking position.

I'm not sure if he is immune to crits. As for the rolling and controlling of players, I'm game for anything you want to do.
Velios tries to dodge the acid but accidentally moves right into its path.

Velios readies his guisarme to charge the creature Manduzi heard on the other side of the door as Beilin opens it and casts his spell. "Beilin, as you light up the room, I will charge in and surprise whatever is on the other side."

Velios grabs the potion from Drosk. "Thanks, I'm going to need this if it is as bad as Roldare says." Velios looks over at Roldare and pats him on the shoulder. "We will do everything in our power to get Dimiria back."
"What is your name? I am Velios. We are a group from Kassen. Please unlock the door so we can help."
I figure Manduzi is gonna have to unlock the door.
Velios walks up to the left side of the door readying his guisarme and motioning to Manduzi to check out the door.
"Shall we gentlemen?" Velios adds as he walks up behind Beilin and Manduzi. "If you would like, I will go first." Velios suggests, seeing a hint of nervousness on Beilin's face. "Well, next to Naria I guess."
Velios will position himself at the third lever and pull it in unison with Naria and Bandar. "On the count of three." Velios directs as he makes his way over to the lever.
Naria wrote: "Should we try the levers?" Naria asks the others. "Curiosity may be getting the best of me, but I say yes." Velios nods looking over at Naria and waiting for other opinions.
"Aye Beilin, that sounds very feasible. Now we have to figure out where the skeletons came from." Velios adds while helping to pull Naria out of the pit.

Velios rushes over to Naria's location stepping in the same path until he reaches the pit. Looking down into the pit Velios gets a confused look on his face. "Are you ok? Why is there pillows down there?"
Velios moves up behind Naria. "Let's work our way around them. Naria, please lead."
Move to R9 and follow Naria.
"Left it is. Let us move, we shouldn't linger in one place too long."
"Which door do you want to go through?" Velios asks, feeling a tad nervous.
Would you guys like to go with door J5 or O10? As for the items, I don't want any.
Walking up behind Beilin to look over his shoulder, Velios replies "I know as much as you friend. I would like to know if the skeletons are a normal occurrence during the retrieval of the flame."
If the skeleton still stands after Bandar's turn, Velios will 5 foot step up to K7 and hit it.
As Velios sees Naria stumble a little, he takes advantage of the skeletons attention being drawn elsewhere and brings an overhead swing down towards it's skull.]

As the skeleton's blade withdraws from Velios' ribs, he lets out a deep grunt while stepping back and readying his weapon for a counter attack.

Velios finally catches his footing on the steps with a quick sigh. He then rears back and strikes the skeleton in front of Manduzi.

"Back to the grave you foul beings!" Velios spits charging forward with a fierce swing of his guisarme.

"That is a good question Naria. Should we move inside?" Velios adds while keeping his eyes open for danger.

Velios moves slowly toward the corpses with his guisarme ready. He tries to tell how long they have been there. "All the dead things we are running into does not portent well."

As the group moves farther away from the cairn, Velios stops dead in his tracks turning quickly back towards the site.
"I saw something coming out of the water by the cairn."
"It looked like a huge green and black patterned head on a long slender neck rising up from the water, its slender tongue flicking out above the stones of the cairn. It looked bigger than a man."
"A cairn would take the least amount of time, then we can get back on the trail. The assailant is more than likely long gone, maybe we can investigate after we return to Kassen with the flame." At that Velios starts gathering rocks.
"Beilin is right. He also deserves a proper burial. We will bury him if you can perform the rights Drosk." Velios starts scratching his head. "Does anyone have something to dig with?"
"This man deserves to have his murderer brought to justice. I agree with Manduzi."
"As for the items, we need to divvy up the coin and figure out what to do with the shortsword. It is a well crafted piece of steel."
"There are deep human footprints running along the lake towards the east that haven't been washed away yet."
