Background
During his education Varen became fascinated with the past especially times before the Gap. Using his skill in talking he was able to travel to some of the other worlds of the System to explore.
Whilst on Akiton he found some ancient ruins and began to excavate but unfortunately in his exuberance he must have crossed paths with some unsavory characters, they ambushed him stole his finds and left him for dead. Fortunately a group of Starfinders on a mission found him and took him back with them to Absalon station.
Varen has done a few jobs for the society but still remains a stanch pacifist preferring to disable rather than kill any attackers.
