Background

The Barahal family is a prestigious noble family. And that's how the leaders of the family wish it to be seen. However, these heads of House Barahal seek the one thing people with power want, more power. The children of House Barahal were raised innocently until a certain age where they would be inducted into the schemes of their fathers. They looked with anticipation at Vanna's growth (sounds creepy) in the magical field. In fact, her talent was so beyond their expectations, she had grown bored of her teachers. Their studies and books holding her back. Her magic seemed to flare with her emotions, and she could channel her energy into elemental fire on a whim. Just like the element she conjured, her personality was just as volatile. She was prone to outbursts of anger. The students were fearful of practicing with her. If she was in a bad mood, they could be burned.
In time, she grew and while she became wiser, Vanna was still as precarious as before. It was at this time that her life changed. She overheard her elders speaking in quiet late at night. As a teenager at this point, she decided that she was the only one who could tell her when she needed to sleep. Quietly she listened to those people speak. Not just her elders, but another not from this place. These people were planning an invasion it sounded like and they would reward her father for his assistance. At this point she was found, and it was deemed she would either have to be killed or memory erased in order to protect the secrecy of the plan. Fire makes a great distraction. To escape she conjured a massive fireball, and fled the scene. She gathered as much as she could, and left the still burning manor.
Since then, she has lived on the run, but it has not been easy. She was a pampered youth, used to getting what she wants, and 'exploding' when she did not. Vanna has gained some experience in the world, and has avoided pursuers up till now. The problem is, she knows of this secret plan to take Golarion. She feels it's her responsibility to stop it.
