Special Abilities:

Bloodline Arcana:
Whenever you cast a spell with an energy descriptor that matches your draconic bloodline's energy type, that spell deals +1 point of damage per die rolled.

Claws:
(Su): Starting at 1st level, you can grow claws as a free action. These claws are treated as natural weapons, allowing you to make two claw attacks as a full attack action using your full base attack bonus. Each of these attacks deals 1d4 points of damage plus your Strength modifier (1d3 if you are Small). At 5th level, these claws are considered magic weapons for the purpose of overcoming DR. At 7th level, the damage increases by one step to 1d6 points of damage (1d4 if you are Small). At 11th level, these claws deal an additional 1d6 points of damage of your energy type on a successful hit. You can use your claws for a number of rounds per day equal to 3 + your Charisma modifier. These rounds do not need to be consecutive.

Eschew Materials:
You can cast any spell with a material component costing 1 gp or less without needing that component. The casting of the spell still provokes attacks of opportunity as normal. If the spell requires a material component that costs more than 1 gp, you must have the material component on hand to cast the spell, as normal.

Feats:

Arcane Strike:
As a swift action, you can imbue your weapons with a fraction of your power. For 1 round, your weapons deal +1 damage and are treated as magic for the purpose of overcoming damage reduction. For every five caster levels you possess, this bonus increases by +1, to a maximum of +5 at 20th level.

Dodge:
You gain a +1 dodge bonus to your AC. A condition that makes you lose your Dex bonus to AC also makes you lose the benefits of this feat.

Traits:
Focused Mind: You gain a +2 trait bonus on concentration checks.

Brigand: You hail from the River Kingdoms or the more lawless reaches of Brevoy. Life has been hard for you. Perhaps your parents and siblings were crooks and con artists, or maybe your rough, lonely life lead you to fall in with thieves and worse. You know how to ambush travelers, bully traders, avoid the law, and camp where no one might find you. Recently, you’ve run into some trouble, either with the law or with other bandits, and you’re looking to get away to somewhere no one would ever think to look for you. An expedition into the rugged wilderness seems like a perfect way to lie low until the trouble blows over. You begin the campaign with an extra 100 gp in ill-gotten gains. You also gain a +1 trait bonus on Bluff, Diplomacy, Intimidate, and Sense Motive checks when dealing with brigands, thieves, bandits, and their ilk.

Arcane Student: You have spent time at a magical academy absorbing the ancient knowledge taught there. Benefit You gain a +1 trait bonus on Knowledge (arcana) and Spellcraft checks, and you may make these checks untrained.

Backstory:
As a child, Vaho had listened to the stories his mother would tell him of ancient dragons and how, long ago, a dragon prince had fallen in love with a human woman. The dragon would visit her in human form every day and court her. They eventually fell in love and had a child, a distant relative of Vaho. As he grew up, he noticed that his skin, no matter what season it was, always had a vague brass tint to it. An adventuring party passed through town one day and the arcanist in the group noticed that Vaho might have something inside him. I only took a few hours for the old man to teach Vaho how to focus is arcane power. The old man told Vaho that he would be leaving soon, but if he wanted more training, to meet him to the south in the stolen lands. Later the next year, Vaho found himself in a small trading post talking to Oleg and looking for his brief and former teacher.
