Hi everyone~ first time posting and I'm looking for an official ruling on this since I'm a little confuzzled by it @_@

Unluck Aura (Su) A pugwampi radiates an aura of unluck to a radius of 20 feet. Any creature in this area must roll two d20s whenever a situation calls for a d20 roll (such as an attack roll, a skill check, or a saving throw) and must use the lower of the two results generated. This is a mind-affecting effect that does not work on animals, other gremlins, or gnolls. Any character who gains any sort of luck bonus (such as that granted by a luckstone or divine favor) is immune to the pugwampi unluck aura.

Crafter’s Fortune
School transmutation; Level alchemist 1, sorcerer/wizard 1
Casting Time 1 standard action
Component V, S, F (a tool)
Range close (25 ft. + 5 ft./2 levels)
Target one creature
Duration 1 day/level or until discharged (D)
Saving Throw Will negates (harmless); Spell Resistance yes (harmless)
The target is struck by inspiration and gains a +5 luck bonus on its next Craft skill check.
Basically the question is can you use Crafter's Fortune to gain immunity to the pugwampi aura as long as you don't make a craft check? What's unclear is does the luck bonus from Crafter's Fortune "trigger" at the time you make the craft check, or is it in place until you make a craft check?
Thanks in advance for a response! Kisses xoxoxo
