Do you have to stay a pure Necromancer or you could go for a Prestige Class like Eldritch knight?

No restriction on progression, other than sticking with what's available via the pfsrd and keeping the character as-is for 1st level.

It seems like Felbur wants to use the necromantic touch attack line. No reason not to flavor this as a bite. Spectral Hand let's him deliver touch attacks at range, for when Felbur knows it's not safe for a wizard to be in close combat. He can load up on touch attacks, then deliver them in a prudent way. Totally do-able.

I imagine the bite attack is mostly for flavor, and for an alternate way to deliver touch spells. Uncle Binder probably knows that a wizard frequently found adjacent to monsters is called a dead wizard.

Which is why the concept comes with Ray/BFC spells built-in, and comes on a chassis with good access to minionmancy as the game progresses. Felbur's the child of a Ghoul Sorcerer Bloodline Sorceress who ran a subterranean necropolis (hence the unusual City-Raised/Cavewight combo) and the Orc manual laborer whose loyalty won her over. That bloodline is the reasoning behind the fluff of the Cruelty drawback, and informed the decision to attempt to make the bite attack useful.

Hi, gang. I have a 1st-level Half-Orc Wizard (Necromancer), and I'm looking for input on how best to progress up through 20th level while staying true to the concept, which is trying to take advantage of the Toothy Alternate Racial Trait for Half-Orcs. The 1st level build and spell load are not subject to change in any way.

Felbur, Half-Orc Necromancer:

STR 12 DEX 12 CON 12 INT 16 WIS 12 CHA 14
Alternate Racial Traits: Toothy, City-raised, Cavewight
Arcane Bond: Armadillo Familiar
Arcane School: Necromancy (Command Undead) Opposition Schools Evocation, Illusion
Feats:Scribe Scroll, Command Undead, Toughness
Drawback: Cruelty (compelled to try to bite helpless/dying foes within 30')
Traits: Finding Your Kin, Reactionary, Magical Lineage (Stricken Heart)
Spells: Bouncy Body, Chill Touch, Detect Undead, Enlarge Person, Ray of Sickening, Sleep, Stunning Barrier

Felbur also wears an Armored Kilt, and venerates Anubis.

Please let me know if more details on concept or other aspects of the character are needed.

Thanks for reading.

Errata for the Book of Exalted Deeds was published; it appears entirely focused on the removal of polymorph abilities, granting Asura a limited Change Shape ability instead.

As with Dennis Da Ogre, I opened the thread under the assumption that it was available online, as in browser-based, rather than a download. I was further frustrated by the 'if you cannot download it, go to X link' posted which was simply a second pointer to the same download. If it ever actually IS available online, and not 'available for download from an online page', I'll happily look into it.

Uncle Binder, where are those spells from? Some of them sound so nice (Plague of Undead? Hmmm...) I'd like to take a look at them.

The great vast majority are from the Spell Compendium. Plague of Undead is on p.158 of that volume, for instance. Please let me know which other spells you'd like paginated. I'm happy to oblige.

They actually aren't too obscure, and none of it is setting specific, interestingly enough. I don't have a list right at hand.

Frostburn, sandstorm, Unearthed Arcana, and PHB2 should be just about it.

Oh, and contemplative from complete divine, but you could comfortably drop that dip. It's for a bonus domain, and is a very common dip.

To be clear, tainted sorcerer has no class abilities after first. In other words, six levels isn't really a dip in the classical sense. :)

Unearthed Arcana's not even necessary; the Tainted Sorcerer and Taint rules are in the SRD.

Here's a fun BBEG that goes from "fairly useful and hard to get to" to "Holy Cow!" as he advances. He's based on a bit of trivia: Name Earth's largest desert?

Spoiler:

LE Human starting stats:

Find a way to squeeze Born of Three Thunders in there and that first 9th level spell, coupled with Explosive Spell, does a reasonable impression of Empowered Locate City.
