About Two-faced Egan
Born in Oppara, Aetregan is the son of a former Royal Theatre Company prima donna whose sordid affair with an elven envoy from Korvosa led to her downfall in Taldan Society. Some say it was her failure to secure certain diplomatic secrets while others say she was ensorcelled by the rakish elven lord. Which ever stories proved true she soon developed an addiction to shiver which consumed her.
Raised by the opera company's stage crew Egan quickly learned the ropes of theatre life and playing a role to survive in both high and low society. Though Egan inherited his mothers voice and stage presence he also picked up a gift for sorcery from his elven blood. Seeing Taldan society as stifling and boorish the youth took work as a courier and made for the Isle of Kortos. It is said whispers in the right ears can take a man as far as a swift dagger in the back in Absalom.
Thus Aetregan finds himself in the worlds grandest city, a charlatan and chameleon vying for patronage with his acting skills and cultivating a network of contacts and informants among the Pathfinder Society.
