Normally, the only temporary bonus that can be used in Day Job checks is the spell Crafter's Fortune. If I understand right, that's because Crafter's Fortune affects your "next Craft skill check" and has a time limit of 1 day/level or until discharged.

Permanent bonuses from equipment, feats, racial bonuses, and traits affect your Day Job check as they would any check for the rolled skill, but temporary bonuses such as those granted by spell effects, other than crafter’s fortune, do not contribute, as the duration over which the Day Job check is made is undefined and represents a longer amount of time than a spell’s duration would permit the bonus to remain.

The "Riddle of Steel" revelation, which Metal Oracles can learn, is very similar; it has no time limit at all:

It seems to me that this revelation should apply to Day Job checks, since it is so similar to Crafter's Fortune, but I'd love to see an official ruling. The wording is somewhat different.

(Theoretically, you could get the two to stack this way by being a Samsaran Metal Oracle to get Crafter's Fortune's luck bonus from the sorcerer/wizard list, but that would be an awful lot of optimization just for your Day Job check.)
