The Exchange

Did anyone read the rules as I did or am I just a little off course?

How long is the effect of the stat loss from the mutagens? Does it return at the expiration of the mutagen effect, is it "healed" like usual or is it permanent?

Looking at the heal skill you could make a heal check to try and recover ability points. It's under long term care.

I was just reviewing the alchemist because I'm really excited to try out this new class but I had some questions.

Bombs
- Bombs become inert after the round they are created if they aren't used

Delayed bombs
- set a timer, bomb goes off after a certain time frame
- If the alchemist reclaims the delayed bomb, alchemist may end the timer and prevent the bomb's detonation

So when does the delayed bomb go inert in regards to the alchemist reclaiming the bomb? After the bomb has been stopped by the alchemist? Can't the alchemist just rest the timer forever so it may be used in another encounter? Granted, resetting the bomb is every round at 1st level but I don't see why it's not possible.

Feral Mutagen
Alchemist gains two claw attacks as his primary and a bite attack

How does this work if the alchemist takes the feral Mutagen and then has a beast shape extract? Does the alchemist get 4 claw attacks and two bite attacks? What about plant shape?

That's all I have for now.

Just saw the updated GPSOP. I does say in there you can go from pregen to a character with minor changes. Going from one class and race to another is not a minor change, So I believe that at this time, it is not possible. But I appreciate the responses.

I had the opportunity to play at a convention for a Pathfinder game. Unfortunately, I was unable to make the character I am currently using for my first game. So I used the pregen fighter for my first session and my current character, a ranger, for the next session.

I was told that within the first two sessions I can change characters and transfer that experience to my current character. This would change the current level of my character. I've looked into the Organized Play PDF and I don't see any thing to prove that this is true.

Am I blind or am I correct that it really effects my character. If I could just get a reference I can justify leveling my character.
