About Toxic_Cure

Abandoned at the doorstep of a monastery door with his brother as newborns, Halstav grew up in odd circumstances. He & his brother, Sporks could do little to hide their uncommon heritage. Whether being despised or praised by those within the monastery, neither simply blended in. The high priestess of the temple took them under her wing guiding them on the path of enlightenment & tried to shield the boys from prejudice.

Halstav took many lessons to heart, but Sporks had little room in his heart for compassion or sympathy--he found it a far less efficient way of living. As time went on Halstav & Spoks saw eye to eye on fewer & fewer issues. After many years in the monastery, building tensions simmered over, & Sporks lashed out against Halstav & the temple elders for what he considered "perpetual betrayal from the undeserving." A bloody fight ensued, & although goaded on, Halstav relinquished his assault. Both brothers parted ways, determined that their outlook was the "true path."

Halstav, disappointed with how peace & love had failed that day, sought out the world to find what lessons he could learn from its many peoples & trials. Perhaps he could do some good in this world, & perhaps he could find & reconcile with his brother. Expecting little else besides hardship ahead, Halstav takes one last glance at his monastery from afar & utters a few prayers. He vows to meet whichever challenges befall him, & help good people in their times of need.
