Tormod is a very tall handsome boy with messy blonde hair and a pale complexion. His face is covered in freckles and usually bruises and scrapes from his training with master Zack. He carries his sword Hellion at all times, it's hilt is shaped liked a broad toothy maw opening up with the blade coming out of the mouth. The blade itself is thin for a great sword with a slight curve near the top.

Tormod is incurably jovial and friendly although people often find his humor lacks restraint. He is very defensive of his friends. When he becomes enraged Tormod loses all signs of his friendly attitude and becomes incredibly violent and loud.

Tormod grew up alongside the other youths of Hope. The other orphans excepted him as a fairly kind and kind of quite kid, but the adults found him quite the nuisance. He often played practical jokes or ran away, and was always dragged back by and infuriated master Zack. Tormod once got in a fight with another boy and left him unconscious in the dirt. Zack gave him a real beating for that but also recognized the need for Tormod to release his inner rage in training. After that the other kids avoided Tormod but he excelled in his training. In the last few years Tormod has learned how to control his rage and has gained some of the other kids trust back.

Tormod's sword Hellion was left to him by his father. Zack gave it to him the day he began training and he hasn't let go of it since.
